Aries

It will be all you can do to hold yourself back over the next few weeks now that Mercury is entering Aries. This is a Mercury commonly associated with foot in mouth disease, or speaking without thinking. However there are still quite a few reserves left over from the previous week so that kindness and caring will still count for something. Words can be used as a weapon, and be quite effective that way. Sometimes you have to say what you have to say. But words can also be used to mend hearts, to heal minds, and also, when necessary, to give a voice to others who cannot speak for themselves. Aries is really good at that. But your voice can also be used to express that which you most passionately care about. And there is nothing quite so effective as speaking passionately from the heart. 

Taurus

If you cannot be with the ones you love, look for creative ways to let them know that you are still there, and that you still care. Sometimes a single gesture can carry a weight of meaning. Make offerings. Sing songs. Make music. Dance. Send poems and write messages on stones, leaving them where they will be found. We are all going to be finding the power of our own voice over the coming weeks, but Taurus has a way of doing things beautifully and meaningfully. We can all learn from your talent and ability to speak from the heart. One other thing that will become apparent over the next several months, is just who and what your true priorities are. Sometimes it is precisely when we cannot have what we want, that we come to appreciate it all that much more. 

Gemini

It will be more difficult to keep some opinions to yourself, now that Mercury is entering Aries this weekend. It will be all you can do to hold yourself back as we move later into the month. However, Mercury in Aries also brings a certain courage to our convictions, and a willingness to speak up when normally we might keep things to ourselves. And this coming week actually affords us the ability to speak up in a way that can heal the divides, mend bridges, and meet people where they are. Sometimes the most important things to be said are the sentiments from the heart, that let people know that they are not alone. Since words seem to flow more easily this week, this would be a good week to connect with someone you care about: send that email, phone your loved ones and perhaps even send them a note. The way we use communicate with others this week can be quite significant. 

Cancer

By the last quarter Moon on Tuesday, the Sun and Moon will be shining a light on the grand Jupiter/Pluto conjunction. This is the time of the month when we start to retreat from the outer world, and begin to look within. Using whatever insights we may have gained from the Full Moon last week, we begin to explore what is no longer relevant, and what changes you may wish to make. From the last quarter Moon to the New Moon on April 22nd is a time of clearing and releasing. This could also be a time of cleaning, and purifying. But more than anything what stands out most strongly is the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction standing as a symbol for all that is oppressive, but also all that is right in the world. We are reminded at this time of year, to not forget the lessons of the past, but also to acknowledge that there is also a tomorrow, and that we should invest our tomorrows with the wisdom and knowledge we have gained from experience. 

Leo

Once you get over the initial feeling of being controlled; or conversely irritated with all those people not following the rules; you can then focus on those things that you do have control over. And it certainly seems as though there are just too many obstacles and rules these days. It won’t be unusual to feel that some things are being blown out of proportion in one area; and then being ignored in other areas. And everyone seems to be an expert these days, so that you don’t know who or what to believe any more. Focus on what you do know. Avoid power plays or discussions about politics which will get you nowhere. These are unusual times, and many people don’t know quite what to do because we’ve never been here before. In these times allow your conscience to be your guide. Focus always on doing the right thing, and the rest will naturally fall into place.  

Virgo

Virgo is usually reticent about jumping into the fray. But I have a feeling we’ll be hearing from you all over the next few weeks now that Mercury just moved into Aries. If you’ve got something to say, you’re gonna say it. One thing that you will not shy away from is being willing and able to speak about even uncomfortable and painful subjects this week. Aries brings the courage to say what is on your mind. Words can also heal when used compassionately and for the greater good. How you use your words and language at this time can be important and significant and meaningful. When we speak passionately and meaningfully from the heart, the message speaks volumes. Therefore make it a point to speak from the heart in order to be heard.  

Libra

We are all going to be finding the power of our own voices over the next few weeks, now that Mercury is moving into outspoken Aries. Libra is known for their diplomacy, but what many don’t realize about them is that no one can hold a candle to Libra when it comes to a debate. However, one thing that will become apparent this week, is that so much more can be accomplished with even a drop of honey and grace, than would be with a pound of vinegar and gall. Words can wound, but they can also heal, mend bridges, and soothe hearts and minds. And when we speak from the heart, it is true, that we are more likely to be heard. So if you wish to change minds and hearts find ways to speak directly from your heart to theirs in a way that they can understand. 

Scorpio

It’s difficult to tell what is or is not true these days. It seems as if everyone is an expert. And it also can feel at times as if things are being exaggerated way out of proportion. In these times of uncertainty and an overflow of information it could also be exasperating as you attempt to parse out all the facts from the rumors. This is why it is important to step back and look at things objectively. Rumors are spread every day by people who are overwhelmed and looking for answers and ways to quell the anxiety. Hoping to have some sort of clue or hidden mysterious remedy is one way to do that. This is why this spread of misinformation is being labeled an ‘infodemic’. Rather than spiraling down this well; use this week to send positive messages forward into the void. Lead the way in allowing compassion and understanding go viral this week. 

Sagittarius

The current economy can be something of a challenge right now. There is nothing quite so frustrating as having things taken out of your hands. In these times when so much seems to be out of our control, perhaps the best thing to do is to focus on those things over which you do have control. But Sagittarius is not likely to sit idly by. Nor are they intimidated by global economic downturns, or anything large for that matter. Sagittarius is indefatigable. In other words you never give up. Even in the face of extraordinary odds. Even when everyone else gives up, you all keep going. This is because Sagittarius knows that tomorrow is not only another day, but another opportunity to try, try again. 

Capricorn

The question going forward for some time is going to be, how am I going to be able to make this big dream that’s growing sustainable? And that is going to be the plan going forward. But right now most people are being asked to stay the course. Continue to work on yourself: make yourself stronger, healthier, more capable. Even better than you already are. Many a Capricorn is facing extraordinary challenges these days. With certain expectations being placed on you. But no one is having greater expectations of you than yourself. For in some way you are being asked to rise to the occasion, and expand your own idea of yourself and what you are capable of. You are growing in ways that you might not even have imagined. 

Aquarius

We only get Mars in our own sign about once every two years. Now that Mars is in Aquarius, see if you can muster up the motivation and courage to follow through with goals that had been simmering on the back burner. It may be hard right now, what with all the restrictions and delays. But at the very least if you can’t move forward with your plans, use the incentive that Mars brings to create a future plan for success. Mars will also invest you with the confidence to follow through. If you wanted to improve your current situation, what would that look like for you? In what ways do you want to grow? Create a plan and a tentative timeline. Even if you have to update that timeline later… or can’t fill in all the details yet, it’s about getting started. 

Pisces

One of the things that can happen when Jupiter is conjunct Pluto, as it is now, is that we find ourselves connecting with our core principles and beliefs. Those things that really matter to us. And acting according to those principles. One thing that could become abundantly clear this week is that not everyone follows their ethical principles, or conducts themselves according to their conscience. Which can be disturbing. But we can all serve as an example to others by choosing to do so, even when others don’t. This is about just doing something because it is the right thing to do. This is about following our own conscience even if no one else does. It’s not so much about what others are or are not doing, so much as whether we are living up to our own standards.
