Horoscopes: July 3rd thru the 10th
For the week of July 3rd thru the 10th, be sure to read your rising sign as well:
Aries
You know that not everyone is going to necessarily agree with you about everything. And chances are, with Mercury still retrograde things will inevitably be misinterpreted, conversations interrupted, calls dropped. Nonetheless you are not going to sit well with being censored. Do remember to breathe and count to ten first. What you say will have consequences. But also remember that your opinions, and your voice is valid. And having the courage and passion to speak up when necessary, is not necessarily a liability. It can also be a catalyst for positive change. And sometimes it’s just necessary to speak a little louder in order to be heard. The current Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn does have something to do with reputation and status. And if you are concerned about your public image, and how you are seen in the world, you may be also considering what you say and how you say it, and who you say it to. And if you are going to have your say, make sure that it is true, it is valid, but especially make sure that it is worth every single word.
Taurus
If you can’t take that trip you had planned, look closer to home. Many are deciding for more local excursions these days, rather than risk any sort of public transportation, whether that be a subway, train, bus or plane. Despite this you are still being asked to consider the ways that you can further expand your mind, your perspective and your possibilities. And if you can’t expand yourself any further than your local neighborhood, look for other ways that you can expand your horizons and reach the broader world. Sing out the window, post that notice. And move forward with all those things you put on the back burner, and kept on ‘meaning to get to’. Try to use any delays to further explore all those things you kept kicking down the road. Picking up that forgotten book, that task you’ve been avoiding, may be the very thing that opens your world in unexpected ways. What you learn, what you are willing to see and hear, will either confirm what you already know, or even open you up to a world of possibility.
Gemini
It really does not help that Mercury is still retrograde. This could feel at times like you are talking to the wind. Everyone seems to be filled to the brim with their own opinions. And this could be a rough week to try to arrive at some sort of commonality of perception as a result. This may even be a good week to take a break from social media and the ‘too muches’. Turn off the electronics and all of the external noise. Whatever it may be that is putting your last nerve on edge. You have other, more practical considerations at the moment. Especially with the current trifecta of eclipses rolling through your life, things may be changing in ways that you might not have previously considered. But perhaps one of the important things you might take from all this, are those things, people and circumstances in your life that you consider to be most valuable. And how these square up with the ways other people might see and value you. Allow yourself to be surprised.
Cancer
The Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn this weekend is concluding the series of eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn that began in 2018. This particular eclipse will be most relevant to those Cancers born between July 1st and July 8th, or have 10-16º of Cancer Rising, but all Cancers should be sensitive to not only this eclipse, but the whole course of eclipses that have transpired over the past two years. Eclipses have this remarkable capacity to open and close whole chapters of our lives. All the more so when they fall in our own or opposite sign. These eclipses can draw more attention to you. They can also draw the people to you with whom you are destined to have some sort of connection. If you are already in a relationship, your partner may be going through some sort of significant change in their life, which will also impact you as well. But on reflection (Mercury is retrograde after all) what you have seen and been shown over the past few years, could prove to be down right illuminating.
Leo
The Lunar Eclipse this weekend is meant to be illuminating in some way. It could also bring certain a series of events that have been transpiring over the past few years to a point of culmination. Could this bring a final chapter to a health issue? And if not, have you been thinking about ways that you could better support your health and well-being? That includes understanding the necessity of where and when you need to pull back, and balance your daily activities with times for rest and recuperation. The Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn could bring up topics concerning work, co-workers, people who work for and/or support you in some way, including people who take care of your health and well-being: doctors, trainers, nutritionists. And as Eclipses open and close chapters in our lives, it can also point to those activities and routines that you fill your daily life with: including your job, your work environment, and the skills that you have to offer to others. You might ask yourself: How can I do my job more efficiently? Is this job really for me? How might I want to change up my routine to better support my life and my goals?
Virgo
There may be some reminders this week that Mercury is indeed still in its retrograde phase. May be a good time to take a breather from social media, and avoid potentially contentious situations. Peace will be hard won, but much appreciated. Mercury is in retreat after all! This way you can step back and look at certain relationships from a more objective point of view. The Lunar Eclipse can bring certain relationships into focus: friends, alliances. But also even children, your own or others. But perhaps most importantly the eclipse is asking you: What are those people and activities that bring you joy? During these eclipses people sometimes consider perfecting a hobby, or taking it a little more seriously. Or perhaps thinking about what and who you are investing your time and resources on? And when you think of the times when you are happiest, what are you doing? Who are you with? What makes your heart sing and dance? That is where you are being called in the light of this moon.
Libra
Libra usually prides themselves at being at the center of the storm. All may rage about you, but you remain composed and level-headed even at the height of all of this mayhem circling around. This is when your diplomatic skills are more likely to be put to the test. With the Lunar Eclipse both your personal and your public lives will be held up in stark contrast. Have you been focusing on one exclusively, perhaps at the expense of the other? Is there some way for you to establish greater balance in your life? Perhaps cutting back in some area in order to be able to have more time for other things that are equally important? It is not unusual with eclipses for even transformational events or thought seeds to be planted at these times that concern things like home and family issues: Where do I see myself living in the foreseeable future? What about career, work and where I see myself moving forward with that? What changes can I make in my life to make things more sustainable going forward? Where can I invest a little extra energy in order to restore more balance and stability in my life?
Scorpio
What you learn, what you hear, are told, see, and observe, could have a remarkable impact on what you believe to be true. In some way you are being asked to pay attention to your immediate environment around you: the people that you meet and greet each day; the neighbors and neighborhood; close relatives and acquaintances, the latest news and views. It’s amazing how even the simplest of ideas, or even the seemingly smallest of news and information can impact your whole world view. This can also include anything that you might be studying or trying to learn. There is a whole wide world of books and learning to be had, that once embarked on can lead to other places, other worlds. But perhaps one of the most important concepts that can come out of this Lunar Eclipse, is a deeper and more profound understanding of the world that can be had, when we stop and listen to what others have to say.
Sagittarius
Although this week’s Lunar Eclipse is not at the same degree as the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction, it is in the same sign, daring you to pay attention to this part of your chart. Eclipses can and do often point to significant changes in our lives, and can also point to important endings and beginnings. It may be that you are needing to let go of something significant. But it could also be that you are about to embark on a new grand and transformative beginning. The sort of beginning that could even impact your self-worth as well as your self-esteem. This can include changing your status in some way, as you are compelled to exchange the hat you are wearing, if only temporarily. What occurs, or is revealed to you can have numerous ramifications and consequences that could impact your income, your values as well as your possessions moving forward. Perhaps in a big way. Something is being rebuilt out of what once was, in a hopefully better, more sustainable way.
Capricorn
The Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn this weekend is concluding the series of eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn that began in 2018. This particular eclipse will be most relevant to those Capricorns born between January 1st and the 8th, or have 10-16º of Capricorn Rising, but all Capricorns should be sensitive to not only this eclipse, but the whole course of eclipses that have transpired over the past two years. Eclipses have this remarkable capacity to open and close whole chapters of our lives. All the more so when they fall in your own sign as this one is. These eclipses can draw more attention to you, and even bring you front and center. It may be simply that you are wanting to take either your health or your appearance more seriously. And if there are things that you’ve been wanting to change, this can even open up the possibility of you being able to do so in the foreseeable future. Because the Lunar Eclipse involves both your sign and its opposite sign, there can also be something to do with a significant relationship going on here. Who or what have you been drawn to over the past few years, and feels as if it needs to be brought to the next level?
Aquarius
The Lunar Eclipse this weekend may be finally bringing a chapter of your life to some sort of conclusion or culmination. This may or may not have something to do with a health matter. But even if it is, this would be less about your physical health than it would be about your emotional and mental well-being. One thing you may want to pay attention to is whether or not you have been getting enough rest and down time. Or perhaps too much down time at the expense of other things that are important to you and your well-being? Perhaps you’ve been feeling overly confined? In some way though, you are being asked to let something go. It is necessary for you to close down a cycle before you can fully open up another, and that sense of completion, and simply letting go can have this way of allowing you to move on with a much lighter load. Lunar Eclipses can also be very revealing. They bring things to light that we had not seen, or were not aware of. But with all these retrogrades, it could also be necessary to stop and reflect on what you learn, and what is being brought out into the light. For it may have some deeper significance to you later on.
Pisces
The Lunar Eclipse this weekend is shining a light on certain associations that you may have: friends, groups that you are associated with, certain alliances. These can include personal friends, but also informal friends such as you may have on social media, various networks, or through group affiliations that you share. Eclipses can create shifts, changes, endings as well as beginnings. Even associations that can have some sort of impact on your life and the direction that it has been taking. One of the things that this area of the chart has traditionally been associated with are hopes and wishes, as well as your ideals. And you may also be addressing these in terms of what you may learn, that affects your aspirations, or in terms of who you are now, and where you see yourself going in the foreseeable future. This is particularly relevant with Saturn’s recent re-entry into Capricorn, as once again you will be reevaluating your aspirations for the future, and where you see yourself going from here.
