Stay tuned for next week's Horoscopes!
For the week of September 9th thru the 16th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Aries
(Full Moon in 12th House) The Full Moon on the 9th/10th, is a mystical and dreamy Moon. Don’t be surprised if you find your sleeping hours filled with vivid dreams and visions of the night. For those who are sensitive, Full Moons can be wakeful. All the more so when the Moon is in Pisces. For this is when you are being asked to connect with your innermost self. And dreams are one of the ways that we send missives and messages to ourselves. This connection to your innermost self, can also be accomplished by creating moments of retreat within your daily life: an afternoon of shouldlessness, a morning to sit idly reflecting and dreaming to oneself. These are the times when you are more likely to have that moment of revelation, that realization, that awareness. Pay attention. For what comes to light, even out of the darkest corners of your mind, long forgotten, hidden in the undergrowth… what comes to light within the ambit of the Full Moon, can be down right illuminating.
Taurus
(Full Moon in 11th House) What are you needing to release in order to move on? What dreams are you still holding on to that you had long out-grown all those years ago? We continue to mature, to grow, to move on internally. But our outer lives and goals don’t always reflect these inner changes. The Full Moon in Pisces can act like a beacon, illuminating your life in such a way, that you see how your dreams have changed and evolved. If the dreams of your younger self no longer reflect the person you are now, it is time to reset your inner gps system, and get yourself back on track. The events, the realizations that pop up in and around the Full Moon could show you where you were being diverted and got off track, and what is needing to be released over the next several weeks, in order to get your life and goals more in alignment with who you are now.
Gemini
(Full Moon in 10th House) Mercury is now officially in its retrograde phase, asking us all to slow down and go within. This can be difficult with Mercury still opposite grandiose Jupiter wanting to take on this that and the other project all at once. But putting the brakes on, is not just wise, but practical. For all that busyness can also be a distraction from doing the really important work this week of connecting with some sort of vision for the future. With the Full Moon in Pisces you can see the culmination of your efforts in a certain direction. This can be a time of completion, as well a reward. If you are happy with what you see, then this will give you the inspiration to want to continue to move forward. But if there are some changes that are needed then this will offer you the opportunity to make them. See what needs releasing, or put on hold, in order for you to move forward. Tie up loose ends. Let go of those random goals that are just cluttering things up and getting in the way, and use the next few weeks to simplify, and release. You will need that extra space for the dreams that are now emerging.
Cancer
(Full Moon in 9th House) If you were to find the answers to your questions, where would you look? There are many places to look, in a faraway land, in the voices of another culture, the secret practices of some wondrous hidden tribe. But know, with the Full Moon in Pisces, she is beckoning you to look within, to that very center of your heart and soul, where your own divine spark is to be found. These external places and things may be resonating with that spark, but it is not without in other voices, but within where it is to be found. The music you are drawn to, that time and sacred place that you yearn for, that subject that you want to know so much more about. All these are leading back to that center. All the more so with Mercury now retrograde. The answers are to be found within your heart and mind, and perhaps even in your own backyard. Through reverie, through reflection, you will find understanding. And in understanding, it can change your whole perspective.
Leo
(Full Moon in 8th House) A feeling of self-empowerment can arise when we come to appreciate our own self-worth. Sometimes in order to do this, we have to lose some excess baggage. Which includes the sort of baggage that is weighing you down. Especially those narratives that make you doubt yourself, or undermine the ways that you value what you have to offer. Full Moons are often times of culmination and completion. So this can be a time of reward, or appreciation for a job well done. But it can also be an opportunity to clear out those things that are standing in the way. Including any negative narratives. Toss them out with yesterday’s trash! You need to clear the way in order to allow the good stuff to come in. Carried on the wings of the mystical and magical Full Moon in Pisces, let it wash all over you, just like a job well done, bringing you the rewards and the sense of completion that you deserve.
Virgo
(Full Moon in 7th House) The Full Moon in Pisces is an opportunity each year for you to gain some sort of perspective on your life. It can feel like a time of completion or culmination, where you find yourself healing and releasing. Things that you have been holding on to that are holding you back, things that no longer fit the person you are now, the things that you’ve outgrown.. let them go. Mercury, now in its retrograde phase, is offering you the opportunity to reflect on all that you have already accomplished and achieved over the past year, and give you something of a vantage point, or an inspiration of where you might want to go from here. If you are happy with what you see, then this will give you the momentum to keep on going in this direction. But if there are some things that need to be adjusted, this is when you will want to reassess and release. Tie up those loose ends, and then move on. You have things to do, and people to see.
Libra
(Full Moon in 6th House) A friend recently sent me a link to an interview with Ellen Burstyn in which, among other things, she discusses how she includes should-less days into her schedule. With Mercury opposing Jupiter this week as it stations for its retrograde phase, you might find yourself challenged to accomplish this. But even a should-less afternoon could also suffice. These are times in which there are no shoulds. In which you don’t have to do anything. And to do so without guilt or self-reproach. It means doing what you want to do without feeling like you are supposed to be doing something ‘useful'. Perhaps like one of those Victorian ladies reading her book on the lawn, or taking a leisurely after-dinner wander to nowhere in particular. In the light of the Full Moon in Pisces, there is no telling what sorts of visions or inspirations can arise when you do so. Because in the space that you are creating, what you are ultimately going to find, is yourself.
Scorpio
(Full Moon in 5th House) What is standing in the way of you being able to have fun? Or to do the things that most bring you joy? These are the sorts of things that make your life feel worthwhile, that get you up in the morning, and recharge your batteries. The Full Moon in Pisces can make you more aware of whether or not you have made these a priority in your life. These can be times of completion. So you could see yourself tying up the loose ends of a cherished project. But it could also be about releasing those things that are standing in the way of you beginning a new one. They are also times of culmination, in which you can see what needs to be released and let go in order to rediscover your own heart center, and what stirs the cockles of your heart. What you discover in the process may even be surprising and enlightening. If you are happy with what you see, then keep doing more of it. But if you need to make more space for the cherished things of your life, see what you can do to make more room for them.
Sagittarius
(Full Moon in 4th House) If you have been working hard towards achieving specific goals in the world, you may find that much of this was at the expense of some areas of your personal life. Or vice versa. The Full Moon in Pisces can make you aware of the areas that have become imbalanced or neglected, and gives you the opportunity, if needed to restore the balance. If you are feeling well supported and connected to family, home, tribe and support systems, then you will receive the rewards and the confirmation for this, and know that you are on the right track. But if you are feeling like things are wanting there, you may need to take a few steps back and figure out what sorts of adjustments you can make in order to make sure these critical areas of your life are not being neglected. This will give you the strength, confidence and the support to be able to go forth, and achieve those goals that you have your heart set on.
Capricorn
(Full Moon in 3rd House) There are times in life in which it can feel as if our everyday life is getting away from us, scattered and distracted, it’s all you can do to get through the day. That can be even more evident when Mercury is retrograde, as it now is. But you can also be made more aware of the ways that you allow your life to get away from you within the ambit of the Pisces Full Moon. Those everyday chores, schedules and plans almost seem beneath you these days, as your sights are on bigger and better things and ideas. But the chores do not go away, and the dishes will pile up. And you need to weed out your email, and answer your phone. Those ideas and plans are not going to go away. See what you need to do in order to clear up the to-do lists in your life in the mean time, and simplify your life and lifestyle. The less distracted you are, the better able you will be to focus on those ideas and plans for the future.
Aquarius
(Full Moon in 2nd House) The Full Moon in Pisces is trying to make you more aware of the balance between your needs and the needs of others. If you have been clear about these with others, then you will see the rewards of having done so. But if there seem to be some conflicts and issues about who deserves what, and whether or not it is all worth it to you to barter and compromise, you may feel the need to go back to the drawing board and clarify what is mine and what is yours. This may require having to make some sacrifices or concessions in order to restore the peace. But it can also afford you the opportunity to let others know what your needs are, while still taking into consideration the value of what others mean to you and have to offer in the bargain.
Pisces
(Full Moon in 1st House) Much of your attention tends to be placed on others at this time of year. It can be very easy in Virgo season to find yourself wrapped up in other people’s schedules and lives. So it can often happen at the Full Moon in Pisces that you will find the necessity to restore the balance, and put some of the focus back on yourself. This may be as simple as taking some mental health days, taking a spa day, or two, or just closing the door and curling up with a book. Or it could be about setting better boundaries with yourself and others, and knowing when you just need to say No. At least for now. And this is important. For within the space that you create for yourself, you can also come to some interesting realizations, and understanding. Restore the balance. Then you can go out and greet the world on its terms once again.
