Horoscopes: September 20th thru the 27th

For the week of September 20th thru the 27th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:

Aries

Next year the planet Neptune (along with Saturn) will enter your sign. And you may already be feeling inklings of something shifting on the horizon. A change is in the air. And never do we seem more aware of this then when we stand between two eclipses as we now are. The Lunar Eclipse last week was already setting the stage for what is yet to come, which also brings the reminder to focus on those things that matter most in the end. And to learn to trust your inner guides, which include things like your conscience, your guiding principles, and Spirit. These will help us all as we move through these times of change and uncertainty. We may not have all the answers yet. And we may not be able to read the tea leaves as well as we might hope to. But what we can do is make the best choices and decisions moving forward based on what those inner guides are telling us. This will help to ensure that we leave no regrets behind. The equinox on the 22nd, is a time in which we stand in the balance between what was, and what will be. This gives us a vantage point, to make sense of all that we have achieved, in order to better prepare for the future. It is also an opportune time to sow seeds of gratitude, peace, love, equanimity and hope. And so may it be.

Taurus

With so many of the major planets in the last degrees of the signs, we are all feeling as if we are on the verge of something, without exactly knowing what that will be. Change can be a good thing. It can bring the hope that things can change for the better. But there can also be a lot of trepidation, that in order to make those inevitable changes something might need to end. This may or may not be so! However, the potential of losing that which we had become so accustomed to in the past, can be a little scary. And so we fill in the unknowns about the future with our worries and fears. Do pay attention to whatever pressures you are feeling. But rather than seeing these as a portent of things to come, understand that what you are feeling are the growing pains that come when you have outgrown your former circumstances, and they no longer support you in the way they did in the pat. Change can be a slow and arduous process, evolving from the inside out. And when that happens, it will soon come time for those outer circumstances to catch up. We have yet to see where everything will land when all is said and done, so rather than complicating things with the what if’s of the future, focus on the present, put one foot in front of the other, and keep things as simple and straightforward as possible.

Gemini

The Libra Equinox each year is a time to take stock of how far we have come, and where we want to go from here. But it’s also a lot more than that. There is an understanding here, that in order to keep moving forward, we are needing to pause and stand in the balance, so that we can gain a deeper appreciation of all that we have achieved so far. And although the future is uncertain, that appreciation for what we have accomplished, and received and done, as well as what we have not accomplished, can go far in helping us to make better decisions and choices moving forwards. So take stock. Tie up any loose ends. Fill up the winter larders, prepare yourself for the months ahead. Pay attention to what you are hearing, seeing and perceiving this week. For this could prove to be a week of incredible insight and understanding. This could even include an understanding of who you are and what your very purpose is. So even if you have no idea where you will end up when all is said and done, you will have an idea of those things that you know you will want to bring with you.

Cancer

As we stand here betwixt and between the two eclipses, it could feel in many ways that we are also between two worlds, two lifetimes, as well as the past and the future. That feeling of standing on some sort of threshold tends to be strong at this time of year any way. The Libra Equinox, the mid-point of the astrological year, is that juncture where we take stock of where we have come from, and where we intend to go from here. This year, that sense of being on a threshold is being reinforced by the Equinox falling between these 2 eclipses. In addition, so many of the planets are in the very last degrees of the signs they are currently transiting, and are on the verge of changing signs in the coming year. We may not be able to see where everyone and everything is going to land when all is said and done, but what we can do this week, is to take stock of our lives in order to get a better appreciation of all that we have accomplished thus far. This can also give us a better perspective of what we might want to sow for the future: including things like peace, security, community, equanimity and hope. And so may it be.

Leo

At the Libra Equinox, one of the 4 cardinal corners of the year, we come face to face with both our past and our future. It can feel very much like we are standing on some sort of a threshold. And that is even more so this year. One of the reasons that it could feel like we are standing on this important threshold of our lives, is that this year the Equinox falls right between the eclipses. This too can feel as if we are standing on a precipice looking back at all that has brought us to this place in time, while looking forward to where we must go from here. It could even feel like we are being inexorably drawn in a certain direction. Another reason why it feels like we are standing, perhaps with a little trepidation, on this threshold, is that all of the outermost planets will be changing signs next year, bringing us into this whole other reality and paradigm. One of those planets is the planet Neptune, which directly opposes the Equinox, veiling the future, and making it difficult to see ahead. And so we stand on this threshold under this veil of uncertainty, trying to fill in the spaces with our own stories. Ultimately what we are needing to do in this liminal space is to more fully connect with ourselves, our own conscience, our own spirit, which is the only sort of guidance that is capable of leading us through this Neptunian fog. And so may it be.

Virgo

We are between the two eclipses. And this can often feel as if we are betwixt two worlds any way, but this is being exaggerated by all these other imminent planetary transitions that makes us feel as if we are standing at a threshold. This can bring a bit of worry and even consternation, especially as the future is just so inscrutable right now, and we have no idea where everyone and everything will land when all this is said and done. And so it may seem a little strange that it all feels so balanced for Virgo this week. Almost as if everything has been put in its place in preparation for just this sort of event. Almost. Except that a few pieces are still not quite yet in their places. And although we find it almost impossible to read the tea leaves right now, or even be able to navigate by the stars which are hidden by so many clouds, you are likely to find yourself inexorably drawn in a certain direction despite any missing pieces. And all you can do is trust that at some point you are going to land somewhere. And wherever you land, just know that when you get there you will know exactly what you will have to do.

Libra

Each year when we enter your season at the Libra Equinox, we find ourselves standing at something of a threshold, in which we are taking stock of where we have come from, in order to determine what we will need for the year ahead. This time of year is also the beginning of a new annual cycle, whether that be the beginning of your birthday year, or when the Sun crosses your natal Ascendant. What is different about this year, is that in so many ways that new cycle feels a little uncertain. Almost as if all the pieces and characters are not yet in their appointed roles. What is perhaps even more exasperating, is that even in the face of all that uncertainty, the choices that you are making now and will be making in the not so distant future feel so important, and like so much is at stake. The best barometer for this weather is to trust yourself to make the right choices, and allow your inner certitude, that can only come when you follow your conscience, to lead you where you need to go. Libra is a sign of balance, of fairness and justice, peace and equanimity. And finding that middle path in the fog of uncertainty, may require a little faith in these principles, and the trust that you are being brought precisely where you need to be.

Scorpio

For Scorpio, this time of year is one in which there is a lot of shedding of skins, of letting go, in order to be able to move with greater certainty into the end of the year. And as we stand at this threshold, at the Libra Equinox, between the light and dark, we are all being asked to take stock of our lives. And in doing so gain a deeper appreciation for all that you have received, achieved, and been given in order to be where you are today. But there is also something else here. Something that feels as if so much is at stake. And that the choices and decisions that you are making now will have so many important ramifications and consequences moving forward. We are all standing at this incredibly karmic-feeling turning point of our lives. And there may indeed be some important decisions as a result. Just know that when you connect with your own personal inner guidance system, (you know that Scorpio inner knowingness gps system), and link it to your higher guides, you can’t go wrong. I’m always impressed by Scorpio knowing precisely where to go, while the rest of us are still wandering around bumping into things in the fog.

Sagittarius

Although not personally so, it could feel as if there is a lot of stress wafting through the atmosphere, as we make our way betwixt and between the two eclipses. It could even feel like so much is at stake. If you do the wrong thing, head off in the wrong direction, who knows where you are going to wind up? One thing that you might want to focus on this week is your wellbeing, and finding a balance between how far you want to push yourself, vs. total inertia and not doing anything at all. There are things you want to do, and places you want to go. You are needing to feed the senses as well as the soul. So you don’t want to avoid everything! However, you won’t want to waste what little energy you do have to the point that you are so totally broke or exhausted that you can’t even crawl out the door the next day. Do feed your heart and soul, but also be mindful of your limits. Knowing when to stop, and when to go, what your limits are will be crucial this week for keeping you on track.

Capricorn

We are all living in interesting times, whether we are aware of it or not. And if anyone has been familiar with interesting times it might be Capricorn. Since 2008 Pluto has been totally transforming the whole Capricorn landscape, including yourselves. And now that Pluto is gradually entering Aquarius, each of you, in your own way, have been emerging from your cocoons, with your completely transformed lives. And if nothing else becomes apparent, it is that once you have made that sort of dramatic transformation in your life there is no turning back. You can’t go back to what you were back then. But just in case you had any doubts, this will be confirmed for you, if not now, then in the foreseeable future. This week, at the Libra Equinox, it could feel as if we are all standing at a new threshold. And although this may not be quite as dramatic as the sorts of changes you had experienced these past 16 years, there is still this feeling of inevitability. Like some other sort of shift. However the more honest you are with yourself, and the greater your integrity to be true to yourself and what you stand for, the more successful you will be in navigating the important choices, twists and turns that lie ahead.

Aquarius

It has seemed for the past 16 years that you have been going through this incredible purification process. And just when you think that you’ve done just about as much purifying as you can possibly do, there is this one final bit more. What remains is the distillation of all that once was. And now that Pluto will be gradually making its way into your sign, where it will remain for the next 20 years, what remains of the essence of your former self is about to embark on a whole new sort of journey of personal transformation. This week, at the Libra Equinox, you could already be feeling like you are standing at a threshold. A threshold that feels like you are needing to make some important decisions about your life. And yet not really knowing what that will all look like when all is said and done. Not only is Pluto changing signs, but so will all the major outer planets be changing signs over the next 2 years, totally changing the landscape in the process. This is why we are all getting this strange feeling of being inexorably drawn in a certain direction, without quite knowing what that direction is going to be! In the mean time, be present. For as we stand here between the two eclipses, we are being given hints as to what that just may be.

Pisces

Just before the Libra Equinox on the 22nd, the Sun will oppose Neptune in the very last degrees of your sign. And so as we reach this important threshold in the solar year, it could feel as if something is about to shift. Neptune will enter the sign of Aries next year, leaving your abode at last. It’s probably a good idea not to try and fight the wave of uncertainty that Neptune can bring. You should know all about that from hosting Neptune these past 14 years. The more you try to make sense of the insensible, the more you try to fight the untruths head on, the more uncertain everything feels! This is the sort of weather that requires us all to release and go with the flow, understanding that we are all moving through a time of transition. This may make it difficult to make plans, or create hard and fast goals. But if anyone knows how to navigate uncertain times, it would be Pisces. What this weather is good for, is being present. Dare to dream. Dare to indulge your imagination. But remember as we are moving forward, and Saturn and Neptune move into Aries next year, that so long as we can discriminate between what is true and what is not, we will  not lose our way.
