Finding our Path
May 25th ~ June 1st
Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence. ~ Henry David Thoreau
We posed the question last week: “What does it mean to live a more meaningful life?” This is a question that we can only answer for ourselves, but each and every one of us may be pondering some version of this, right about now. Not only do Jupiter and Neptune perfect an exact trine on the 25th (24th), but the Full Moon, in the Jupiterian sign of Sagittarius, is guiding us to discover, if not our very own path, at least a path well worth considering. Sagittarius in its highest expression is the sign of the Pathfinder, our inner and outer Guides, our Hope for the Future, and our Quest for Knowledge and Understanding. And with Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, in the occult and enigmatic sign of Scorpio, now trine mystical Neptune, we are all being directed to discover our own path, that is being further illuminated by the Full Moon.
Full Moons can be times in which we see the ramifications of choices we have made in the past. And as we stand at this fork in the road, we may question some of the choices we have already made. What we learn and discover at the Sagittarius Full Moon, allows us to see whether or not we are truly on the right path, or where we have gone off course. This insightful water trine between Jupiter (Scorpio) and Neptune (Pisces) is asking us to trust our intuition, and our inner guidance system. Therefore we are all being asked to consider, “What feels right for Me?” Not necessarily what path you think you should be on, but to seek out that path that feels right, and resonates with your soul’s yearnings. You may not even be able to see it clearly yet, but recognize when you are being pulled in a certain direction, and why.
Along with this is the advice that we are some how being guided by some external or internal force. There are signs here and there along the way. We may not see them for what they are, and we may choose to ignore them, but they are probably there right before our very eyes, or at the very least, in the depth of our soul, urging us in a certain direction. Some of the things that can be associated with Jupiter trine Neptune can be:
- Sharing a spiritual destiny with others.
- Finding a community that shares similar ideals that you do.
- Connecting with others in pursuit of a higher cause.
- Opening your heart to a higher purpose.
- Investing your goals with greater meaning and a sense of fulfillment.
- Connecting with your inner guides, your Intuition, your Conscience, or gaining inner realizations about what your true path might look like.
From May 30th thru June 4th, Venus, which is in the 3rd water sign of Cancer, will create a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter and Neptune. This is the sort of lovely weather that we look forward to. After an isolating and doubtful Venus/Saturn opposition for most of this week (24-28th), this will feel like the fulfillment of all of our hopes and wishes, unfolding like a warm wave of love, community and sharing. From separation, sorrow, isolation and divisiveness; we are now being asked to open ourselves up to the grand possibility of Love and Connection.
Some positive affirmations for this week could be:
- I deserve to be happy and filled with joy.
- May I find that sacred place that brings me a profound feeling of inner peace and beauty.
- May I step aside to allow the creative spirit to use my hands and speak through my voice.
- I am vast and capable of connecting with those things that will bring me happiness, peace and joy.
The 4th month in the Tibetan Calendar is called Saka Dawa, considered to be the holiest month of the year in Tibetan Buddhism. The peak of the month arrives on the 15th Lunar Day of the month when there is a full moon, and is celebrated for the 3 major events in the life of Shakyamuni Buddha: his birth, his enlightenment, and his parinirvana (attaining freedom from rebirth). May all beings find guidance towards the path that brings them their own peace and enlightenment, on this most sacred of days.
