On Tuesday we have the Full Moon just one day after Christmas. Traditionally a very emotional Moon, the Christmas Moon may help to shed some clarity on a situation in our lives. And this is despite the feeling that we can’t even see our hand in front of our face, nor see a way forward through the fog of our lives.

The Capricorn Solstice

In Winter time, as we are having here in the Northern Hemisphere, the potential of life still lies dormant within the earth, waiting for the return of the light to invigorate it once again. New Moon in Sagittarius & Mercury Retrograde

Less than one day after the New Moon in Sagittarius on December 12th, Mercury stations for its retrograde phase which lasts until New Year’s Day. It may seem that Mercury is holding us back, keeping us from moving forward with our plans. But that is not actually true. In fact, Mercury’s retrograde phase may in fact be something of an advantage. And any delays or detours may also turn out to be fortuitous in the end.

Saturn stations Direct 2023

On November 4th (or 3rd, depending on where you are in the world) Saturn will station Direct at 0º Pisces 31’, ending its retrograde phase. If you’ve been feeling stuck, or obstacles have been getting in the way, Saturn’s station can eventually lead to finally getting un-stuck. It may take a bit to put some of the pieces together, but as each of these outer planets ends their retrograde phases, we will all be finding it easier to make progress in our lives.

The Taurus Lunar Eclipse on October 28th

On October 28th we have a partial Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 5º Taurus 03’. For the last 18 months the majority of the eclipses have been in Taurus and Scorpio. From here on the majority will be in Aries and Libra. But like an afterthought, or a final statement, we have this one last Eclipse in the sign of Taurus. And through the lens of Taurus we are being reminded of what we are needing most right now. Not Revenge, Rejection, Anger, Hatred, or even Righteous Indignation. But simply and unequivocally: Love.

Between the Eclipses: the First Quarter Moon

In that unpredictable space between the eclipses we have a First Quarter Moon at 28º of Capricorn exactly conjunct Pluto. Exactly conjunct Pluto and square the Nodes of the Moon. Endings and beginnings merge in this space. Where that will all end up is still uncertain for now. But it does seem that there are some powerful forces at work here.
