For the week of October 19th thru the 26th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Aries
There is an old expression, that the best fighter is never angry. When we dare to act or speak out of anger, it is bound to be (in the words of Ambrose Bierce) the best speech you will ever regret. This is because when we are overwhelmed by agitation, the mind is incapable of clarity and making rational decisions. Therefore, before you hit the ‘send’ button, before you sign on the dotted line, before you confirm, take a deep breath. Things will be changing not only from day to day this week, but hour to hour, and it will be all you can do to keep up. Therefore, stop. Especially if you are feeling agitated. Don’t feed the narrative about how wrong something is or wrong you are, or unfair or unheard of. Stop the story, and the agitation will pass right through in only a matter of seconds. It will be all we can do to keep up with the changing narrative, best to keep a low profile, and be nimble at the same time.
Taurus
We are gradually approaching the inferior conjunction of Venus which is the equivalent of the New Moon phase of Venus. At this point Venus has disappeared from the sky, and is about to be escorted into the throne room of the Sun. Pay attention to the Full Moon next week, for what is being revealed in the light of this moon, will probably be an important piece of the puzzle for the next Venus cycle. This is a dark phase of Venus, when she is still retrograde and invisible, so it is not necessarily a time to act, even though it is a time of coming to terms with a changing paradigm. The Full Moon is potent in your sign, and will be particularly strong for those Taureans born in the very early degrees of Taurus (April 20-23, or have 0-3º of Taurus Rising). Now that Uranus is in your sign it is bound to usher in some sort of significant change over the next 7 years. Right now the early Taurus people are going to be feeling this the most. Think of it as a period of serious evolutionary growth and opportunity.
Gemini
This should be an interesting week for Gemini, as Mercury sails through the last decan of Scorpio. It begins with a little edginess, which should be watched. Mercury/Mars squares are notorious for verbal faux pas in general. All the more so, if you have your head in the clouds and you speak without pause. On the other hand, if there is something important you need to say, this square just might give you the courage to speak up and speak out. Just realize that not everything needs to be shared with others, especially as many will be a little more touchy than usual. What this week is good for: unraveling a mystery; solving a problem; revealing secrets; researching a particular subject. And it is great for any situation that requires focus, concentration and analysis. You will leave no stone unturned in your desire to uncover and reveal the truth.
Cancer
Hold on to your hat Cancer! There is a bit of a wind storm blowing in the Full Moon, replete with a bit of excitement and maybe even a bit of daring. There could be a few changes, twists and turns before the week is out, so be prepared and willing to be flexible. There is no telling where this weather will bring you. However, there almost seems to be a rhyme and reason to all this excitement. This is because Uranus will be instrumental in freeing you up so that you will be the better able to bring your aspirations, hopes and wishes more in alignment with your true purpose. And you will no longer tolerate situations that limit you or demand conformity. You are your own person, and you will not be defined by anyone or anything right now.
Leo
The Full Moon next week could be quite something, especially for those Leos born in the early degrees of the sign. This is because the planet Uranus, which is closely conjunct the Full Moon can be something of an awakener. Sudden and shocking revelations could bring the realization that some sort of new paradigm is emerging. And at this point, there is no going back. On Tuesday the Sun enters the sign of Scorpio, a sign of deep mystery and depth of meaning. This is a time of year in which we begin to prepare, plan and gather our resources for the months ahead. It’s time to take control of, and plan out your destiny for the foreseeable future. Something interesting this way comes, that dares you to step off the beaten path and take a chance exploring uncharted territory.
Virgo
If you find yourself jumping through hoops moving into the weekend, see if you can transcend the general mayhem and any confusion by stepping back a bit And remember the admonition to take the high road when at all possible. If you find yourself agitated and aggravated, take a moment to stop and take inventory. Shut off the tapes of negativity, and let it pass. Things are moving so quickly this week, that your mood will be changing right along with it, and before you know it all that agitation will pass right by. What this week is good for: doing research; getting to the bottom of a situation; investigating a problem; finding solutions. The Full Moon can be something of an awakening or even a jolt. This is because the Moon is accompanied by electrifying Uranus, which can be quite shocking at times. Allow yourself to be flexible, for there is no telling what can happen with a Moon like this.
Libra
By the end of next week, Venus will make its inferior conjunction with the Sun, marking the beginning of the next Venus cycle. This is important for Libra, as it marks the beginning of a cycle for you as well. This can ultimately impact self-worth, income as well as your self-esteem over the next 19 months. Without even realizing it we are all planting seeds in this dark time of Venus, that will come to fruition over the months ahead. These seeds have to do with personal priorities. And they may also be impacted by circumstances that are being revealed in the light of the Full Moon, which in this case could be quite revelatory. One thing that may become evident, is that nothing stays the same, and that all things are subject to impermanence and change. How else could we possibly grow, learn and evolve? Yet even so, all changes carry an element of nostalgia and even longing for what once was.
Scorpio
What is right for you, may not be what is necessarily right for anyone else. And being able to follow your own heart is almost a necessity right now. And there is no telling where this will take you. Part of the Venus retrograde in Scorpio story is about being clear about what your expectations are of others, they of you, what your expectations are of relationships, and being true to yourself in the process. Something could even come to a crescendo around the Full Moon next week. This may be when you decide whether or not to commit to the new path that you are considering. Be flexible. In some way you are being asked to step off the beaten path, and the more resistant you are to doing this, the more difficult it will be.
Sagittarius
The Full Moon next week is bound to be both interesting and revelatory. New information, either about a health matter, or concerning your work could be both exciting and life-changing at the same time. There could even be a wake up call. And if this is so, think of it as an excuse to get yourself back on track. It’s about priorities, and acknowledging those things that are truly important to you. And making sure that you pay attention to these. However there is also an urgency here to do things your own way and in your own time. And Lord help anyone who dares stand in the way. There is a lot of creative energy being generated through this Full Moon. See if you can channel some of that energy in some constructive way.
Capricorn
In the midst of chaos and change we always need someone to serve as a voice of reason and stability. It keeps us all from spinning out of control. Capricorn often plays that role, and it would seem that you are being called to task this week with this whirlwind of a Full Moon. If anyone can take charge and stand firm, it is Capricorn. And we are relying on you to be the ballast that keeps us all from capsizing. Don’t be surprised if you are called on to make those important decisions; or to navigate and negotiate between opposing parties. Being able to harness all the different players, and making the most of a potentially contentious situation is not easy. One thing that becomes evident, is that it is important to have a plan, but it is also important to be flexible enough to adjust to any unforeseen changes that pop up this week.
Aquarius
Continue to mark your words going into the weekend. The impulse to say or do something impulsively is still strong, what with rash Mars cruising in your sign, and you won’t want to blurt out something regrettable. On the other hand, Mars also brings you the motivation and courage to speak up, and be a positive force for creative change. And the Full Moon next week could bring a few unexpected surprises that ultimately could also be a window of opportunity to create the sorts of changes you want to see going forward. Just go with caution. This is the sort of Full Moon where people’s emotions are bound to be erratic and unpredictable. It may not be entirely what you had anticipated. We’re all being advised to be flexible this week.
Pisces
A lovely Mercury/Neptune trine carries Pisces through the weekend, sailing over any discord like a lithesome boat sailing nimbly over choppy seas. Part of this is because you dare to withdraw from the commotion, taking time out to transcend the mayhem. See if you can maintain this peaceful perspective moving into the rest of the week. May it set a more sublime tone. Maintaining your serenity, even in times of instability is not easy, but you’ve got something of a head start here. See if you can successfully ride the waves this week as the Full Moon begins to churn things up. All sorts of things and ideas can pop up with the Full Moon, including creative alternatives you might not have considered before. Keep an open mind, it might bring exactly the solution you’ve been hoping for.
