For the week of September 21st thru the 28th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Aries
This week comes in like a Lion, and out like a… well not exactly a Lamb, but more like a Ram, which is more becoming for an Aries any way. As you shake off some of the remnants of the Summer eclipses over the weekend, you are then going to have to face down the Full Moon in your sign of Aries. Full Moons are often times of culmination and revelation. They can bring both rewards and consequences, depending on circumstances. This Full Moon will be particularly strong for those Aries born in the early degrees, however all Aries people will feel this one to some degree. This is a Moon that awakens us to our own personal challenges, and through this process hopefully leads to either acceptance or understanding of our current condition. This may take a certain amount of adjustment and compromise if you are faced with any limitations. Which is not something Aries does well with. Nonetheless, nothing ever keeps an Aries down for long. And by the end of next week, you raring to get back on top of your game.
Taurus
I’m sure there are quite a few Taureans out there just waiting for the dust to settle, so that they can furrow down into their own little routines again. Even if it has to be a whole new routine, may it at least be a routine. However, with the current weather and prognostications, it is unlikely that things will settle down too much. You are evolving and growing over the next several years in ways that you might not even fully understand. This will keep us all guessing. However, what is most promising about this progressive transformation is that it’s not really so much about you changing from one thing into another thing, but but about you gradually becoming a truer and more authentic expression of yourself. And that’s certainly something to be looking forward to.
Gemini
Mercury is moving swiftly as it enters the sign of Libra Friday (or Saturday). This not only brings a level of cool objectivity, but also can bring the fruition of efforts expended over the past several weeks. This period in the Mercury cycle is similar to its own ‘Full Moon’ phase. Combined with the Harvest Moon this week, much can come to something of a head. This could even bring the fulfillment of a cherished wish or goal. However there is also something bitter sweet about this, indicating that you are going to have to make some hard choices. Be clear about what is or is not possible, and where you need to set appropriate limits. Mercury now entering Libra emphasizes moderation fairness and diplomacy, even when this may require having to make some compromises in the short term in order to see your hopes fulfilled in the long term. The clarity of the Full Moon phase of Mercury will serve you well in weighing any decisions you may need to make.
Cancer
There is a Full Moon this coming Monday (or Tuesday) in the very early degrees of feisty Aries. This can bring the culmination of all of your efforts, or at least make you aware of a path moving forward. It may also become evident that you may not be able to fulfill the promise being shown you right now, as there are certain loose ends that still need to be taken care of before you can proceed. I think what we are all going to be figuring out in the light of this Full Moon, is what we can or can not practically take on without becoming utterly swamped. It’s one of those things where the mind is willing to take on just about anything, but not being able to get around all those obstacles that keep getting in the way. Things do seem to get a little better as the week advances. One thing about these Aries Moons and Cancer: they can give you just the boost of confidence you need to overcome even the most daunting of challenges.
Leo
The Equinox usually heralds a more social season for Leo, who is rarely one to turn down an invitation. However, with the current weather and trends you just may feel the need to. That’s okay. It will soon become apparent where you need to set boundaries and set limits with others in order to restore your sanity and well-being. Once you get all of your obligations sorted out, then you will have more time to get out and socialize. Don’t allow resentment to get in the way either. If you find that you’ve taken on too much.. look for ways to restore the balance without having to compromise your sense of responsibility. Early on in the week will probably see quite a few people feeling challenged. However energy and chutzpah will soon return as the week moves on, and whatever obstacles were standing in your way should begin to finally resolve.
Virgo
Not only do we have a Full Moon in swift and feisty Aries this week, but your ruling planet, Mercury, is also in its own ‘Full Moon’ phase this week. This is when we are most able to look at things objectively, and with greater clarity. It is also when we begin to see the results of our efforts and initiatives we’ve been focusing on over the past several weeks. Full Moon phases are often about bringing things to fruition, or revelations about an issue that can change our perspective. This Full Moon is filled with contradictions however, bringing both rewards and obstacles in its wake. However, with the right amount of courage and initiative, you can overcome even the most daunting challenges in this weather. Mercury is entering Libra Friday night; a sign that is willing to make the sorts of compromises that are necessary in order to achieve your goals. However, in this current climate it is also wise to be clear about what you can or can not live with in order to do so.
Libra
Ever since Chiron entered Aries last April, many a Libran has been weighing all the different areas of their lives in order to establish some sort of healthy balance. Now that we are entering your season, and you are being brought front and center, whatever weaknesses may be lurking in the foundation of your life, will become even more evident. Pay attention so that you can shore up these areas of your life. This will be especially so with any health issues that have been lurking in the background, now that Chiron is returning to Pisces. Work and daily routines are another area of concern. Chiron should bring you whatever tools you need in order to address any of these lingering concerns, so use them well. This Full Moon is a reminder, if you haven’t already been paying close attention, to the need for self care. And that includes both physical and emotional self care. You simply cannot pour from an empty cup.
Scorpio
Things are still a little changeable and chaotic as we move through the weekend. And if you are wondering where all that chaos and mayhem is coming from, those are the last vestiges of the Lunar Eclipse from last Summer. It probably does not help that we are having a bit of a feisty Full Moon, that can feel a little limited and hemmed in, making everyone feel as if they are biting at their own restraints. This Moon could bring some internal conflicts out into the open. Just realize that there might not be very much you can change, so that it may be necessary for you to compromise and come to terms with your current situation, recognizing that you are where you are due to your own choices. Acceptance and understanding are key for this conflicting Moon. However, one thing that may become evident, is where you probably will want to make changes going forward. Do so. But not without recognizing those things and people in your life, for which you do feel a deep sense of gratitude.
Sagittarius
One thing we are all being made aware of in the light of this feisty Full Moon, are those things over which we do have control, and those that we simply do not. At least for the time being. It could feel a little frustrating not being able to move forward with plans. Or feel overwhelmed with the responsibilities that you have taken on. The key here is to seek some sort of compromise and balance: cutting back here, doing a little less of that, a little more of this, until you have a formula you can live with. With Jupiter heading to your sign in November, you are going to be pretty busy at the end of the year. Best to start tying up loose ends now, and creating much needed balance, in order to have the energy and stamina to proceed with a grand new vision that is only just in its infancy stage.
Capricorn
If you are one of those Capricorns in the early degrees of the sign, you will be feeling this Full Moon, although most Capricorns will be picking up the Full Moon vibe this week. In Libra season we strive for balance. But with Saturn now in your sign, you are recognizing the necessity to take the first steps towards realizing and achieving your goals for the future, which could also mean a lot of work. What should become apparent in the light of the Full Moon this weak, is just how much you are willing to take on. One thing that we are all being given permission to do this week is establish better boundaries, and give ourselves permission to say ‘No’ when we need to. Be clear about what you need to do to establish greater balance in your life, cutting back on those things that are undermining your confidence and well-being and reinforcing those things that you need.
Aquarius
If you’ve been wondering what all that fuss was this past week, those were the last remnants of the Lunar Eclipse from last Summer. Before all is said and done, the last touches of some much needed changes were being capped off. It should become more clear where your personal freedom and sense of Self has been compromised. And despite any potential conflicts being raised by the Full Moon this week, you should see both your confidence and motivation gaining momentum by the end of the week. Use any new-found courage and enthusiasm to get any initiatives off the ground. But before you get there, you may still have a few obstacles to have to move around. These are confounded by communications glitches earlier in the week. Focus on what is in front of you, and be clear about where you are going, and what you want to achieve. That clarity of perception, and having a well-defined goal will carry you forward.
Pisces
The upcoming Full Moon will carry its own set of obstacles and contradictions. Full Moons are like culminations, bringing both rewards and recriminations. And surely there will be some priorities to be worked out in the wake up this Moon. However, the most interesting event this week for Pisces, is retrograde Chiron returning to your sign for the next 5 months. It often feels during these liminal transition times when a planet (or Centaur) travels back and forth between signs, that there is still some unfinished business that needs taking care of. This may involve having to tie up loose ends, or putting the final touches on the last phase of your life, before you can proceed with the next one. But first this requires you to reconnect with yourself, spiritually, mentally and emotionally, just to make sure you are truly beginning on the right foot. This surety will carry you forward with greater confidence into the future.
