For the week of July 12th thru the 19th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Aries
Even in times of unexpected change and explosive events, it is still possible to effect a healing. This can be physical, emotional or psychological, but you definitely get this feeling of finally seeing results for all of your efforts. Perhaps the best word for all this, might be a sense of impending ‘freedom’. Just don’t rush things over the weekend. There is still a tendency to jump in impulsively, especially if you are feeling overwhelmed. This will eventually calm down. But probably not until after the Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday. Lunar Eclipses occur on the Full Moon, but this is no ordinary Full Moon. What this Eclipse reveals to many, including Aries, are where we need to do some of our most serious work. Many an Aries is feeling exhausted and overwhelmed with responsibility these days. If you do find yourself in this position, allow yourself to honestly explore how you ended up there in the first place. Holding on to that original goal or motive can help to buoy you over these presently shifting tides.
Taurus
As life seems to continue to change in mysterious ways, it will become all that much more necessary to achieve some sort of inner equilibrium, about what you believe, and what you want to stand for. This may or may not have been exasperated by an ethical or moral dilemma, that throws you back on your core beliefs. But once doing so, also remind yourself when you need to let something go, in order to then move on. What could come out of the Lunar Eclipse this week, is the awareness of what or whom you know you can truly trust and rely on, vs. those that you merely feel obligated to out of duty. Lunar Eclipses have this way of bringing things out into the open. What you learn at these times, can be both illuminating and mind altering as a result.
Gemini
Pluto in Capricorn is Pluto in its true role of transformation and change for Gemini. Navigating themes surrounding birth, death, change, endings and rebuilding can be daunting to say the least! With the Lunar Eclipse currently highlighting Pluto, one of the keys to dealing with this transit is to uncover all those things that lie hidden or lurking beneath the surface, and are needing to be uncovered. This can apply to what’s hidden within your own psyche, buried beneath the earth, within your own body, or simply hidden from view. With Pluto traveling here, you are not only capable of transforming your own life in some meaningful way, but you also have the ability to transform the lives of others. You might want to ask yourself, what would you want to adjust or change in order for you to make a new and better, more sustainable beginning?
Cancer
The Lunar Eclipse falls on a Full Moon when the Moon is in Capricorn, and the Sun in Cancer. This makes the current set of eclipses very significant to people born to the sign of Cancer, as it heralds a time of important personal growth as well as your relationships with others. The Lunar Eclipse is particularly important to relationships (which can be so complicated sometimes), but is also about creating greater balance and harmony in your life. This may mean either setting healthier boundaries with others, or finding ways to be even closer. The Eclipse could be shining a light on something that needs to be brought out into the open, and may even involve intense encounters with others in order to reestablish greater harmony. If you cannot get what you want, or you find yourself locking horns, try to consider what would be for the greater good of everyone concerned, and see if you can arrive at a workable compromise that you know you can live with.
Leo
The Lunar Eclipse is shining a light on wherever Pluto falls in your chart. For Leo that could concern many things, including a health problem that can no longer be ignored; a situation involving work or the work environment; or something to do with your everyday routines and habits. It could merely be that you’ve been working extremely hard, or doing ‘too much’, and perhaps even relentlessly to the point of exhaustion. You might want to ask yourself, where you are suffering from ‘too much’, and how you can establish a routine that is healthier and more manageable and beneficial for your overall well-being. Pluto exposes the wounds or habits or tendencies that are getting out of hand. See if something comes to light this week around the Lunar Eclipse. If so, it is asking for you to pay attention, and see what positive changes you could make now in your daily routines.
Virgo
With Pluto traveling in Capricorn in some way you are being asked to look for positive means for self-improvement. One of the things that the Lunar Eclipse might do, however, is first show us the things that are not working so well. One of these areas have to do with navigating intense emotions, passions and feelings. Realize these may be your own, or they may be someone else’s directed at you. Either way you could be compelled to explore your relationship to complicated issues surrounding these deeply compelling feelings. Ultimately Pluto aims to deepen all relationships. But perhaps the most important element to Pluto being here is this subject of self-improvement. Part of that is achieved through aligning yourself with a deeper form of personal self-expression. How can you give your own passions some form of positive expression? Doing so, can also bring unexpected added therapeutic benefits as well.
Libra
You might want to see if some part of your life is currently outweighing the other. Is your personal life, or family concerns interfering with career goals and aspirations? Perhaps an avocation competing with your primary vocation? Simply, what is exhausting you? And where do you need to reestablish some sort of balance in your life? The Lunar Eclipse is going to show you the areas of your life that have become overwhelmed or imbalanced, and what sort of makeover you might have to make, in order to make your situation more sustainable. In some way Libra is being called to fulfill their destiny. But you are also being asked to make certain sacrifices in order to do so. Are you really willing to make these sacrifices? The bottom line, is that it would have to be a really good cause in order to bring you the strength and motivation to do so. Just make sure you don’t exhaust yourself in the process.
Scorpio
In the midst of change and adjustment, along comes yet another little fly in the ointment that you hadn’t seen before. Full Moons can often be emotional and illuminating. Things are revealed, truths are blurted out. But what we learn during eclipses, which is what this Full Moon is, can be down right mind altering. Mind altering to the point that you may not be able to see things quite the same again. Honestly facing hard truths can not only be some of the most challenging, but also the most freeing experiences you will ever have. The first step is to want to see things as they truly are. The second step is to courageously and honestly face whatever is being revealed to you. The third step is healing: and finally self-transformation and rebuilding. And that is the evolutionary story of Pluto being highlighted by the current Lunar Eclipse.
Sagittarius
Over the years your values have been changing and shifting, as your priorities have also shifted. As a result you have come to terms with those things that you truly value, and this may not necessarily be what you had thought. One of the things that can occur during a Lunar Eclipse is that we become aware of situations and conditions in our lives that we hadn’t really considered before. And as a result of what we realize, our priorities and our perspectives can shift. Eclipses can also shift things in ways that can feel remarkable: we can lose things, we can also gain things. If you do lose something, think of it as falling back on yourself, forcing you to question what are those things in your life that you truly consider to be important and valuable. If you were to make a major investment. What would you invest your valuable money, time, and resources on? Realizing in this process, that there are just some things that you can’t put a price tag on.
Capricorn
On Tuesday there is a Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn. This Eclipse will be most relevant to those Capricorns born between January 12th and 17th, or those who have 22-26º of Capricorn Rising. However all Capricorns are going to be feeling this one to some degree. Part of that reason is that the Eclipse also highlights where Pluto has been traveling, and with Pluto currently also in Capricorn it is likely to bring all sorts of things to the surface. One of the things that Capricorn has been asked to do is to find a way to take greater control over their own life and the direction it is taking. We often fear the things that Pluto threatens to take away, but what Pluto also brings are opportunities for self-improvement, to redefine the sort of person that you want to be, to reinvent your life in a way that is stronger, and more sustainable. But in order to accomplish that Pluto also dares us to face some hard truths, and put in the hard work. None of which will go unnoticed.
Aquarius
On Tuesday there is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. One of the things that can happen during these tremulous times is that things come to the surface that had previously been hidden, and locked away in some safe place. So don’t be too surprised if secrets are revealed, events from the past are revisited that you thought were settled long ago, or that things that you were in denial about can no longer be ignored. It’s unsettling to say the least. Especially if all these skeletons emerge from your closet. However, it is precisely by facing your inner demons and fears that you are capable of arriving at healing and wholeness, and with a greater capacity to heal others as well. You are being asked to declutter your psyche, and transform your inner life in some remarkable way. And personally I agree with George Bernard Shaw: If you can’t get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you may as well make it dance.
Pisces
With 5 planets and Chiron retrograde, a Lunar Eclipse and Mars squaring off with Uranus, it could feel like you are in the eye of the storm. And some how you are managing this with aplomb and serenity, while the rest of us are being swept away by the shifting tides. Add to this a lovely Venus/Neptune trine this week, and we could all learn a thing or two from Pisces about remaining present. Perhaps there is something to be said, that if you can’t get what you want, appreciate what you do have. This is just the attitude that allows you to rise above the fray. Nonetheless there is that Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday and everyone is going to be feeling this one to some degree. And one of the ways that you may be feeling this is bearing the cross of being the town crier. So much of which you have been warning us about is coming to fruition, and all you can do is sit back and watch it all unfold.
