Aries

You’d be more than willing to be on the front lines if you knew what the heck it is you’re supposed to be fighting over here and what you can do. But if you can’t even see your adversary then you’re just going to have to go on faith, and listen to what the experts are saying. Even if you don’t really want to. There’s nothing worse for Aries than having to sit on the sidelines. All it does, is make you super restless and edgy. It certainly does not help that your ruling planet Mars is traipsing all over Jupiter and Pluto this week. As far as you’re concerned you’re not going to sit idly by any more. The best thing for Aries this week? Do something. Tackle a project. Build something in your garage. You need something to do to keep you busy in these confounding times.  

Taurus

Sometimes all you can do is shake your head at all of the insanity in the world. Some things are just incomprehensible. But a lot can be brought into perspective this week as you review all that has occurred over the past month. It’s about priorities, and getting down to what your true ideals and principles actually are. If you want to live in an ideal world, what exactly would that look like? Thomas Jefferson once said, “On matters of style, swim with the current, on matters of principle, stand like a rock.” What are those principles that you are willing to stand for? That you are willing to put yourself on the line for? Those are just some of the questions we are going to be asking ourselves over the months ahead. 

Gemini

The last thing Gemini wants to hear about are super contagious respiratory viruses invading your atmosphere, and cramping your lifestyle. Telling a Gemini to stay inside? Not shake hands? Not socialize? Unthinkable. However, the best advice for everyone is to be prepared and listen to the experts. Even if it does put a wrinkle in your social life. One thing that Gemini is really good at is being able to roll with the punches and adapt to whatever life throws your way. Flexibility is key for these changeable times, even if and when you are forced into a corner. Gemini can make the most of just about any situation. And we’ll be relying on you to show us just how to handle these confoundedly unpredictable times. 

Cancer

Yes you do have dreams. Mercury has come back to Pisces to remind you of just exactly what those dreams are: what you do or do not believe in; what are your core beliefs and values. You might want to ask yourself: What have I learned over the past several weeks? What has changed my perspective? You may be biting at the bit this coming week though. Especially if you are feeling controlled, contained and restrained in any way. Although Cancer generally loves their privacy, all the rules and regulations may be feeling somewhat oppressive and ominous. And people can be so cranky lately! You might be better off holing up. At times like these your inner world might prove to be more inviting than the outer world any way. 

Leo

It can get so difficult when there are so many limitations being placed on you. After all, all you’re trying to do is earn a living, take care of business, and your daily routines. It certainly doesn’t help that half the shelves are empty at the grocery store. One thing about Leo, is that they rarely give up. But if you were to change some of your habits, not necessarily to comply with some of these new over-arching rules and regulations, but for your own health and sanity; what might those be? How can you do things better? How can you be better prepared in the future? What precautions (other than mass quantities of toilet paper) might you need going forward? 

Virgo

Don’t even mention ‘virus’ to a Virgo. You all have enough on your hands battling the usual cooties and contagions, never mind these invisible denizens lurking on every doorknob and polluting every air droplet. When the stores are all sold out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer, this is when Virgo gets creative. If anyone can mix up a batch of their own DIY sanitizer it’s Virgo. They’re way ahead of the game. They figured out that whole containment and quarantine thing a long time ago! And don’t even get them started about washing hands. But one thing you all do have to remember, are those things and circumstances over which you do have control, and those you don’t. Focus on those things that you can do something about, and leave the rest. And make sure to screen out all of the misinformation. Using your wonderful powers of discrimination and research skills, you all are way ahead of the game. 

Libra

It’s exasperating when you can’t rely on the very people, the very things, the very infrastructures in your life that you’re supposed to be depending on, to support you. There’s something of an every person for themselves atmosphere in this environment that is ominous. But Libra is not going to get bent out of shape. Never underestimate Libra. The reason they are capable of being the calm reasoned voice at the center of the storm, is that they are accustomed to weighing every decision before diving in head first. And Libra is more than capable of picking themselves up by their own bootstraps when and if necessary. This week is a good time to review and revise routines, work methods (working from home if you can?); diets and habits any way. If anyone can be the calm in the storm, it’s Libra.

Scorpio 

Scorpio is usually ready for any contingency. They’ve been hoarding for years! If anyone has a well-stocked viral containment facility in their backyard, it would be a Scorpio. However, even this one may have caught you guys off guard. But not for long. For this is also when you all are at your best: researching the latest information; weeding out the truth from the misinformation; inventing a new anti-viral formula. If you can do something about the problem, then do it. If you can’t, then at the very least, don’t worry about it. You’ve got this! Another thing that might make you nervous is that wildly fluctuating stock market (which is also why a number of you already put your money into tangibles like gold and cash in the first place). As I say, even in the most unpredictable of circumstances, if anyone is prepared, it’s Scorpio. 

Sagittarius

For those of you stuck overseas due to travel bans, hunker down, and allow yourself to be in the moment. One thing you all are good at is being present with wherever you happen to find yourselves. If anyone can adapt and make the most of any changing circumstances, it would be Sagittarius. And if you need to get back home, you’ll figure out a way. The key here is being prepared for anything, seen or unforeseen, and figuring it out from there. Focus on those things over which you do have control, and allow yourself to let go of those things over which you don’t. There is a certain freedom that can come with ambiguity, and not necessarily knowing what tomorrow will bring. One thing that Sagittarius knows is how to make the most of today, and that tomorrow is always another day.

Capricorn

If anyone knows about self-containment, it’s Capricorn. But perhaps what you are really not ready for are the scary, end-of-the-world-as-you-know-it, scenarios. The last thing Capricorn wants, is to feel out of control of the situation. Therefore it is best to sit tight, and focus on those things that you do have control over. If you can do something about a problem, then do it, and don’t worry. If something is out of your hands, then let it go, and don’t worry. This is one time when following the rules, and paying attention to the experts is going to win out. One thing that should be evident from the last several weeks, is how important it is to make sure that you are getting the right information. So use your powerful faculty of common sense to discriminate between true facts and misinformation. There’s been a lot of that flying around these days. 

Aquarius

As you stand on the brink of the rest of your life you are beginning to get a whole new perspective of your life to come. We will talk more about this over the next few weeks. As Saturn stands poised to enter your sign, you are coming to realize that what you need now is different from what you used to need. This is because you are outgrowing the life you used to have. And like a hermit crab outgrowing its old shell, it’s time to move on to something more appropriate for who you are now. In the mean time, in these trying times it is now getting down to survival, and the truth of the matter is it’s what you can’t see that we are most vulnerable to. And we’re not just talking about viruses here. Sometimes it’s the things we do to ourselves, with our own fears, our own worries, that undermines us the most. It’s like our famous Aquarian, Franklin D Roosevelt, said way back in 1933, “..the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

Pisces

Mercury re-enters your sign on Monday, and in doing so is bringing things back into perspective. Pay attention to all that you’ve been contemplating over the past several weeks. Something should finally begin to make sense. Hopefully Mercury will also bring a bit of clarity and understanding in these otherwise confounding and confusing times. One thing about Pisces, is that you all are usually quite good at being able to go with the flow and adapt to the changing circumstances when you need to. One of the reasons for this adaptability is your ability to also be present and in the moment even as the rest of the world just keeps flowing around you. This may seem like a contradiction. But for Pisces it works.
