For the week of August 5th thru the 12th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Aries
We’ve all made certain commitments and promises in our lives. The sorts of commitments that we aim to see through to the end. But if and when these commitments prove to be more bother than they are worth, it causes one to pause and reassess. And one thing that you could become aware of, are what are truly your most important priorities going forward? And in order to get your priorities in order, there can come a time when we find it important to shuffle things around. Cut back here, in order to have more for what really matters. Whether that be about time, money or resources, it’s about what you really want to be spending those valuable resources. If we learn anything through this series of powerful full moons, and the Saturn/Uranus square, it’s about the people and things that really matter in the end, and the ways that you want to be spending your valuable time.
Taurus
There is a certain busyness that occurs for Taurus when Saturn is in Aquarius, as it has been for the past few years. There are things to do, and goals to accomplish, as you aim to position yourself in the world. But then something comes along to challenge all that, which can give you pause, and ask yourself, what am I really trying to accomplish? What is the statement of myself that I am trying to make? And is it worth all the effort that I am investing? We make certain commitments. And many of these are likely to be worth the investment. But at what expense to your freedom? And perhaps even to your own individuality? This is the sort of Full Moon when we are asked to step back, and consider what it is that you might be compromising for the sake of recognition, achievement, or reward. You might think it’s all worth it. But then again…maybe not.
Gemini
With Mercury now strong in Virgo, you have super powers of observation and discrimination. But the upcoming Full Moon in Aquarius can be very illuminating. In the light of the Full Moon you could come to realize that not everyone is going to necessarily agree with your point of view. Therefore it becomes that much more important to be clear with yourself about what your own position is. This is about what you know in your heart of hearts is right or wrong, and using that as a barometer to make important decisions. This is not necessarily easy. Especially in a world that is constantly trying to get you to conform. To be your own person, and to see things with a clear mind of perception, is a precious thing. Do not take it for granted.
Cancer
With the Full Moon in Aquarius next week on the 11th of August, we can see the consequences and repercussions of decisions or changes that have been made, or that you had been hoping to make in the future. It could also show you the necessity of making changes that up until this point, you have been avoiding. Full Moons are revelatory. They bring things out into the open for everyone to see. This objective point of view allows you to see things in a new light. If you are happy with what you are seeing, then this can be confirmation that you have made the right decisions, and can continue with confidence. However, if you are not happy with what you are seeing, then look for ways to make adjustments. One thing that can become evident when all is said and done, is that we don’t necessarily have to keep doing things the way we always have in the past, and that there might actually be alternatives.
Leo
The Full Moon in Aquarius is an opportunity for Leo to step back and look at themselves, their lives and their choices from a more objective perspective. One way to gauge that is by the impact and impression we make on others. And they on you. We make promises and commitments and have obligations that are important to us. But we can also see how these obligations can impact other choices in our lives. If these obligations are having an impact on, or are limiting your freedom of expression, or your independence; or are keeping you from growing, then you may be questioning some of these obligations or commitments you have taken on. Just be clear with yourself, about what your end goals are. Sometimes it’s worth it to make a few compromises in order to ultimately get you where you need to be. And sometimes it becomes very clear as to when you need to just say No.
Virgo
Having Mercury in your own sign can feel something like a relief. When Mercury is in Virgo, you can just see things that much more clearly. This could help you to look at things in a much more discriminating way as we approach the Full Moon. Things have a way of being revealed at these Full Moons. They can also be times in which we see the consequences of decisions and choices made in the past. With the Full Moon in Aquarius we are offered the opportunity to step back and look at all these things more objectively. If you are happy with the results that you are seeing, then you can proceed with confidence, knowing that you are likely on the right track. But if it becomes evident that some adjustments or changes could be made, then this might be the time to look for alternatives. One thing that can become apparent with the Full Moon in Aquarius, is that we don’t necessarily have to keep doing things the way we always have in the past, and that there is always room for improvement.
Libra
One thing that becomes apparent as we approach the Full Moon on August 11th, are those things that are worth taking risks for, and those that simply are not. It’s a matter of priorities, and being clear with yourself about what your actual priorities are. What we often become most aware of when a Full Moon is conjunct Saturn is what we are not able to do, or where we are feeling limited or denied. But this Full Moon has a twist, because it says, yeah, there are probably risks when we have to bend the rules, or go against the grain, but if it’s for the right cause, then you just might be willing to pay the consequences. So if it’s worth the risk, and it is for a higher cause, then go for it. But if not, then it might make more sense to simply say No. We’re going to be weighing the consequences with the Full Moon.
Scorpio
There is no telling what’s going to happen next. Plans could change on a dime in this weather. You just never know. Therefore it makes sense to remain flexible and open. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 11th can be illuminating and can bring things to a head. It can also bring things to a final conclusion. The thing is, with this particular Full Moon, is that you just never quite know what that conclusion is going to be. Especially in light of any recent events that could have already changed the paradigm. If by the Full Moon, you are happy with the consequences of any recent changes, then you know that you can proceed as planned. If not, be prepared for alternatives. It’s always helpful to have a Plan B in the works, just in case.
Sagittarius
One thing that can become more apparent with the Full Moon on August 11th, are the things that you can’t do. But it could also be the things that you don’t want to do. Be clear with yourself what your own limits and priorities are, and don’t let yourself be swayed or compromised by the clamoring hordes. If by the Full Moon you are happy with where you find yourself, then know that you are likely on the right path and can proceed with confidence. However, if you are feeling at all reticent or uncomfortable, look for alternative ways to reach your goals. And don’t be afraid to simply say No when you need to. That clarity in and of itself, can bring you just the peace of mind you need. But do also be prepared to change your mind as needed at the last minute. This is a bit of a crazy Full Moon, and there’s no telling what can pop up when least expected.
Capricorn
Capricorn generally likes things to be somewhat predictable. They have their ideas and their rules about the ways that things are supposed to pan out. These could be put to the test this week as we approach the Full Moon in Aquarius on August 11th. What could become apparent with the Full Moon are the ways that you might be holding yourself back, or not able to grow because of trying to maintain the status quo. Sometimes you have to take a few risks, or make a few concessions in order to be able to grow. But be clear about the sorts of risks you are willing to take, and that will be worth taking a chance for. If it’s really not worth it, then you might want to hold to what is already working. But if you are feeling a little stuck, see what sorts of adjustments might be worth your while.
Aquarius
The Full Moon in Aquarius can often be illuminating for Aquarius. All the more so for those Aquarians born between February 4th and the 11th, or who have 16-22º of Aquarius Rising. This Full Moon could have the effect of feeling like you are at a crossroads. Caught between certain obligations and commitments you have taken on, vs. a need for greater freedom and personal self-expression, you could be wondering: should I stay or should I go? Should you stay with what you know, and what feels familiar? Or should you take a chance and try something new and different? One of the things that the Full Moon in Aquarius allows you to do is to step back, and look at your situation objectively. This may help you to get a clearer perspective. It won’t necessarily make the choices any easier, but it may allow you to see things a little more clearly.
Pisces
Full Moons can often be illuminating, and have the capacity to bring things to a head, or to a final conclusion. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 11th, can do all of that. But perhaps one of its features is this feeling of having to make some sort of choice that could ultimately free you up in some way. The choices that seem to be emerging in the light of the Full Moon revolve around deciding between the Old and the New, or sticking with what you already know and are accustomed to, vs. taking a few risks and trying things another way. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control we are compelled to go off on a tangent, and look at things from another perspective. Be open. For what you learn, could open you up to alternatives that you might not have considered before.
