For Pluto in Aquarius for your sign (and/or house placement if your know it):
Aries
(11th House) There can be many pros and cons to having Pluto in Aquarius for the next 20 years. It can bring up issues and wounds associated with feeling like an outsider, being cast out of the tribe, unaccepted or reviled. And there can be issues within groups riddled with power struggles, jealousy or manipulative behaviors. But there can also be the realization that when you join forces with others who share the same ideals and world view that you do, you are able to accomplish so much more together, than you possibly could on your own. And could, through the agency of the sign of Aquarius, have a much broader influence over society and the world at large. Do be wary of hitching your wagon to the wrong wagon train though. Motives are essential wherever and whenever Pluto is involved. And you might want to question the wisdom of joining a group simply for the power, exposure or recognition you can receive, especially if it is at the expense of your own integrity or values. That being said, you can have the capacity to transform your life, heal wounds and re-empower yourself and your life in a meaningful way with the right sort of allies: spiritually motivated groups or causes that are concerned with the overall greater good of society, 12-step programs, group therapy, and self-improvement. Ally yourself only with those who share the same values, ideals and passions that you hold, and that will be where profound healing and renewal can be found.
Taurus
(10th House) In some way you are being asked to take greater control over your life and destiny during the years that Pluto will be in the sign of Aquarius. And indeed it can feel like you are being drawn along by the hand of fate when Pluto is in this sign. You may think that your life was meant to go in one direction, and then find yourself somewhere else entirely by the time that all is said and done. Pluto in this sign can be very compelling for Taurus. Almost like you have a calling or a destiny that you simply cannot or will not ignore. Like there is something important that you are supposed to do. Power can be both stultifying and gratifying when Pluto is here. And in order to take control over your own life and destiny, you will need to contend with power in some form or other. This may be your own power. How you use it. What you use it for. Or it can be about the power that others, or in some cases society, has over you. This is when people confront issues like prejudice, bullying, misogyny, sexuality or gender identity, or some other societal glass ceiling that needs to be broken. Or when your own relationship to power and how you use it is being put to the test. The purer and more inclusive your motives, the broader will be your base, and the more support you will gather for your cause. Ultimately, the transformative power of Pluto is trying to get you to believe in yourself, and what you have to offer to others. And then use your power, position and skills in such a way to benefit the larger community.
Gemini
(9th House) For Gemini, having Pluto in the sign of Aquarius for the next 20 years has this tremendous capacity to change the way that you view the world. It is a very slow moving planet, but by the time that it leaves this sign 20 years from now, you can see some of your beliefs and your perspective change. One of the reasons for this is by having some of your views and beliefs challenged in such a way that you are forced to look at things in a different way. As a result, for Gemini, this transit of Pluto through Aquarius can be a time of profound awareness and understanding. Sometimes people can get caught up in some sort of extreme movement with Pluto here, or become obsessed with a particular idea to the exclusion of all else. Aquarius is something of a revolutionary sign, and we are likely to see quite a few of your brethren carrying the banner for this, that or the other cause. But so long as you keep to the principles and ideals of the sign of equality, freedom and brotherhood foremost, you are not likely to stray too far afield. With Pluto here you are on a mission to unveil the truth, and then carry the message to others. And the more strongly you hold to the those Aquarian ideals of inclusiveness the stronger that message will be. One additional point: This is a sign for Gemini that has to do with higher education and understanding. It will not be enough to go to school and study and take tests while Pluto is here, for you will also need to experience things in real life, in order to bring you to that higher level of understanding and truth.
Cancer
(8th House) As far as Cancer is concerned, having Pluto in Aquarius, is sort of where it belongs. For Cancer, Aquarius is already a sign that you associate with profound transformation, and perhaps even revolutionary change. The transits of Pluto are long. And so this transit through Aquarius is more like a lengthy period of transformative experience. It is true that it can happen that at least one life-changing experience could change the direction of your life during this period. For by the time that Pluto leaves Aquarius 20 years from now, it will feel much like the ending of one phase of life, allowed you to give birth to another. People will often use this period of time to tackle habits, break patterns or break self-defeating cycles that are holding them back, and preventing them from growing. The key to making the best use of Pluto in Aquarius means being willing to dig down deep and uncover that which had been hidden away from view, but was also capable of undermining your effectiveness in some way. That could be referring to a habit. But it could also be referring to old wounds that had never healed, self-defeating shame, guilt or fears that had never been resolved. But once you begin this work of unearthing, and digging down deep into the loam, something else arises: and that is this empowering capacity for healing and renewal. And once you accomplish this tremendous work in your own life, then you will also have the tools and the ability to transform the lives of others as well.
Leo
(7th House) Now that Pluto will be moving into the sign of Aquarius, Leo is bound to see some sort of profound changes in their relationships, as well as the way that they do relationships. Leo has a natural attraction to people who are original and inspiring. But also people who give you a lot of freedom to do your own thing as well. However, with Pluto in Aquarius for the next 20 years all relationships are going to be far more compelling, and at times even intensely so. Never will people have the capacity to have such a profound and transformative effect on you and your life than during the years that Pluto will be in Aquarius. At times that intensity could be a bit much for even passionate Leo. But it can happen that people you are involved with during this period can and will act as a catalyst in your life, compelling you to be much more in touch with your emotions and/or needs. Pluto can seem to draw you to really powerful people. Either because they are powerful and/or influential people in real life, or because of the influence they have over you and your life. One thing that can be evident during this 20 year period, is that as a result of certain people that you are involved with over this period, your life will never be quite the same again.
Virgo
(6th House) As Pluto was working its way through Capricorn for the past 15 years, it was trying to awake you to some sort of a calling. The sort of calling that cannot and will not be ignored. But now that it will be in Aquarius for the next 20 years, Virgo has the opportunity to turn that calling into something much more practical. And then perhaps offer it as a service to others. When Pluto is in Aquarius, Virgo may be seen to be working really hard. But the truth is, when you are doing something that you feel passionately about, something that feels like a calling, or feels like you are fulfilling a cause, it doesn’t necessarily feel like work. It feels like what you must do in order to fulfill a need. Either something you need to do for yourself, or for others. Aquarius is also a health sign for Virgo, and can point us to that which supports your health and well-being. From modern technology, new discoveries and cutting edge science, Virgo is positioned to benefit from these while Pluto is here. Pluto can be down right transformative, and through a program of personal rehabilitation, strength training, or modalities that help to clear out any knots and/or clogged channels in the body, a sense of renewal can be had. There can often be an intense interest in health and wellness while Pluto is in Aquarius. And by the time Pluto leaves this sign 20 years from now, you could find yourself something of an expert in some areas related to health and wellness as a result.
Libra
(5th House) As we make the transition from the Pluto in Capricorn era, and into the Pluto in Aquarius era, many a Libra will be brushing off the clinging emotional and psychological detritus of the last 15 years, and in the process feel like you are moving forward with a much lighter load. But even in the sign of Aquarius, Pluto will still be Pluto, transforming our lives in other ways. Aquarius is a sign through which Libra finds an avenue for personal and sometimes creative self-expression. This is where we cultivate our talents, indulge our hobbies, and discover skills and abilities that might otherwise have remained dormant. Pluto unearths new talents, and deepens skills you already have as it travels here. Personal self expression becomes almost therapeutic, allowing you to release old wounds, and unload emotional angst. Like a calling, something from deep down within you is needing to be expressed. Personal relationships can also take on a much deeper tone, wakening the need to make deeper connections with others. Normally well-behaved Libra is being asked to live more deeply and feel more passionately. And it will not be ignored. And neither will you be ignored, as Pluto works its wiles on the Libra brethren through the sign of Aquarius for the next 20 years. We’ll all be wondering what got into you!
Scorpio
(4th House) Scorpio rarely does anything superficially. Pat answers will never do. But the discoveries made while Pluto is in Aquarius can be truly profound. Perhaps even more so. For just as you unearth one ancient artifact hidden beneath the depths of your own subconscious mind, another mystery reveals itself, just waiting to be carefully brushed off, identified and witnessed. There are layers here. Hidden beneath the folds of memory, and sometimes hidden in plain sight. The past comes forward again, and with it a deeper understanding. An understanding of origin. An understanding of your own history. And the intricate intertwinings, and threads of personal connections that help to explain yourself, your roots, your heritage, your family. Pluto is a process. It takes years to unfold. But what you learn about yourself and your own history can also help you to redefine yourself. Eventually with the help of Pluto you learn to create your own tribe, your own family and/or community. And find healing in this. In the mean time, your traditional ruling planet Mars is finally emerging out of Gemini this weekend, and into the sign of Cancer. A sign also having to do with family, tribe, community and home. And with both of your ruling planets changing signs, you may find yourself circling the wagons, returning to the past, only to discover that some karmic chickens are coming home to roost. Allow yourself to be intrigued.
Sagittarius
(3rd House) The changes that Sagittarius will experience for the 20 years that Pluto is in Aquarius will be focused primarily on the mind, and what you are filling your mind with. With Pluto in Aquarius, you will find yourself drawn to the profound and the meaningful. You will no longer settle for pat answers, but will find yourself questioning everything, even ideas that you previously took for granted. Even your everyday conversations will be filled with depth analysis, and interspersed with psychological realizations. You want to know not only why the clock ticks, but why people do the things they do, and why we are even here, on this Earth. With a drive to understand, you may also find yourself inclined to bring up touchy subjects that people normally would not want to discuss over the dinner table (or anywhere else for that matter). Others might find this uncomfortable, but you just want to know WHY. You want to get to the bottom of things. You want to investigate. To KNOW. As a result you could find yourself drawn to certain subjects that might help to explain these questions you have: psychology, the occult, scientific research into the mysteries of the physical universe, metaphysics, or yoga. You are about to embark on a mission of discovery and inquiry which you simply cannot or will not ignore. Go with it. There’s no telling what might be unearthed in the process.
Capricorn
(2nd House) For the past 15 years that Pluto has been in your sign, Capricorn has been redefining and reinventing themselves within a whole new paradigm. This may have been physically, mentally, emotionally, and even professionally. And what has been driving you all this whole time was this desire to have greater control over your own life and destiny, and to reinvent your image within that context. It has been inspirational to watch many a Capricorn totally transform themselves and their lives. And now that Pluto is entering Aquarius, a new sort of transformation is going to be taking place within the context of self-worth and self-esteem. It is not unusual for one’s financial situation to be totally different by the time Pluto leaves this department 20 years from now. People go through a complete change of heart and realignment with what their financial and personal priorities are. And can change your whole relationship with money and/or self-worth. Pluto in Aquarius is now going to be tasking you with the challenge of confronting your own self-doubts, in order to create a firmer foundation which will help to bolster your inner worth and self-confidence.
Aquarius
(1st House) The planet Pluto (yes, astrologers have always considered him a planet), has a lot of scary connotations. And so many an Aquarius is looking at Pluto entering their sign with a bit of trepidation. However this need not be so! To begin with, Pluto transits are a process, rather than a specific event on a specific day. It takes a full 20 years for it to traverse the sign of Aquarius, but by the time it has made its way through your sign, it is likely that you will find yourself in a whole new place in your life. For the very definition of Pluto is about transformation, rebirth and renewal. Pluto is evolutionary. Meaning that the transformative events that arise are a manifestation of that which had been growing within. For the years that Pluto has been in Capricorn, you have been evolving and growing internally in ways that you had not even realized. And now that it is entering Aquarius, it will be ready to give expression to that. There can be major life changes when Pluto is here, but which compel us to find our own kernel of truth. And it is within that kernel of truth that we get the courage and drive to do our own Plutonic work, which is nothing less than having the capacity to reinvent our whole lives. This can include things like changing your physical appearance, changing your profession, or discovering a calling. But in some way, it is something which you cannot not do.
Pisces
(12th House) For the water signs, such as Pisces, Pluto will be digging deep in order to do its work while in Aquarius. And for Pisces, there are layers and layers of unearthing, revelation, and understanding as it makes its slow journey through the illuminating sign of Aquarius. Know that nothing will be hidden long with Pluto here. All things hidden, will eventually come to light. This is especially true of those things buried deep within your own psyche. This can be disconcerting as all sorts of things can then come to the surface that you hadn’t even known were there! For during the 20 years that Pluto will be in the sign of Aquarius it is doing a deep cleaning in the deepest and darkest recesses of your mind. Things long lost and forgotten in the dim recesses of time are stored here, resurrected and then released. Like a magnet, Pluto pulls in all of our most deeply buried traumas, with the intention of purifying these once and for all. So this could be intense! It is important that Pluto do this work. It is nothing less than clearing out all of the space junk that stands in the way between your conscious waking mind, and that tiny spark of the divine which we call soul. By doing this work, Pluto opens up new pathways to that which we refer to as our own spiritual center, revealing nothing less than your own soul’s purpose. And if you are lucky enough to make that connection, it will then have the capacity to serve as your own inner personal gps system for the rest of your life.
