For the week of March 15th thru the 22nd, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Aries
A Full Moon on the 20th will bring everything to a head. Everything. This will be particularly strong for those Aries people born on the first few days of the sign, or have the first few degrees of Aries Rising, but all Aries people will feel this Full Moon. All the more so, because it is shining a light on Chiron, the centaur that just recently entered your sign. Not paying attention to your own needs will only breed a great deal of resentment right now. At the same time, there is a recognition that if you are willing to stop and put that oxygen mask on, you will be in a better place to be of assistance to others. Aries is not usually willing to take assistance, even if it is needed. But the remedies are there, if you are willing to take them. Then, and only then, there will be no stopping you. Once you have an agenda and a plan, you will be hell bent and determined to see it through to the end. Channel some of that hell bent determination in a constructive way, to tackle both short term as well as long term projects and goals.
Taurus
Once you get through the week, once you get past the Full Moon on the 20th, you should be able to coast for a bit. In fact there should be some well-deserved coast-worthy moments once we get past this weekend. Something tells me that you are well deserving of some good news, and a bit of a reprieve. In order to make the most of this week, don’t look at what other people have or are doing. The frustration of not getting what you want, or not having enough will just get in the way of the potential to bask in all the potential that this week can bring. Each morning when you wake this week, think of one thing that you are truly grateful for. Something that makes your heart sing. Place your heart and mind on the good things that are happening. Like a seed planted in fertile soil, all that richness and goodness has so much potential to grow. Therefore feed it, and feed it well.
Gemini
This week begins with feeling over-extended, distracted and uncertain, even though you are still feeling like you have big decisions to make, and bigger issues to contend with. It will feel a bit like you are herding cats. Nonetheless there are things to get done and decisions to be made, even if Mercury is all retrograde and soaking wet in Pisces. There is a nice window of clarity after the weekend. This could be useful. Part of that is that you are getting a clearer picture of what is really going on. We can get so distracted by what we want to see, and what we believe to be true, that we look at life through a prism. But then reality steps in. And this allows you to make more rational decisions. It’s good to know what we are working with and what resources are actually available. Once you have all that, once you have some kind of plan or structure, then you can feel more comfortable improvising.
Cancer
The Inferior Conjunction of Mercury that just recently passed presented an opportunity to reboot your mind stream. Do not be concerned if you were sitting on the fence trying to make a decision. There is no doubt that there is a lot of uncertainty in the air these days. That is okay. However, this Mercury retrograde period is good for some things: spiritual retreats; contemplation of a higher purpose; and connecting with your inner conscience, inner guides, inner purpose. This all might not get a chance to really sink in until after the weekend, and maybe not even until Mercury is direct again in April. But that is all part of the process. The Full Moon on the Equinox will undoubtedly bring a number of things out into the open, not the least of which will leave more than a few feeling wounded and/or ostracized. One of the lessons of Chiron is learning to embrace and accept every aspect of ourselves unconditionally. The more we can do so, so will everyone else.
Leo
Many will feel over-extended, ill at ease, and at cross purposes straight through the weekend. Yet, if you can, continue to try to find moments of stillness in which to connect with yourself. These moments are particularly important around the Inferior Conjunction of Mercury which only just passed. It could fee as if so much still remains to be known. And that uncertainty prevails through the rest of the month. However a Full Moon on the 20th could be quite illuminating going forward. One thing that will become apparent for many is the necessity for self-care and setting appropriate boundaries with others. The first day of Aries coincides with Spring, here in the North, Autumn in the South, but it still brings this rush of life, like a bird hatching out of the egg: that surge of vital energy that propels us out into the world, with new hope and a renewed sense of purpose.
Virgo
That scattered sense of uncertainty follows you through the weekend. Just realize as we continue to travel with retrograde Mercury that there truly is no escape, no matter how hard you may try. There actually is something of a reprieve here from the confusion and crossed messages. Therefore if you need to get anything done, organized or settled, this week may offer some opportunities. In the midst of all this Pisces, Neptune, retrograde diffuse weather, there are some windows allowing you to make sense of the insensible. Earlier in the week spirited discussions could prove to be both thought provoking and inspiring. But it’s after the weekend and going towards the Full Moon that you’ll be feeling most productive. Just realize that once that Full Moon passes a lot will get lost in translation. So milk it for all you can get.
Libra
We are gearing up for a Full Moon on the 20th, which is also the Vernal Equinox. This Moon will most impact those Librans born on the first few days of the sign, or who have the early degrees of Libra Rising, but all Librans should resonate with both this Full Moon and the next one as well in April. This Full Moon is drawing attention to the centaur Chiron which only just entered the sign of Aries. This is a reminder for Libra that you are allowed to live your life, and make your choices according to your own terms. You do not need to ask permission. And you do not need to put aside your own destiny, and needs, as if you don’t have the right to take up space or make up your own mind. If you can experience life on your terms, then you will also have enough to give to others. But even before you get there, pause to give thanks for what you do have. Each morning when you rise, think of at least one thing that you are especially grateful for. This week is particularly fertile for planting seeds of virtue, kindness, joy, gratitude and happiness. And the more it is appreciated, the more it will just grow and grow.
Scorpio
There are times when you realize that you are probably outgrowing your environment in some way. Not necessarily in a bad way. You’ve just moved on. Recognizing that can help in deciding what comes next in the larger scheme of things. And no matter how exhausted you may be feeling now. No matter how daunting some of your plans may seem to be; there is something calling you to fulfill your destiny. Mars, slow and determined in the sign of Taurus is willing you to see your goals through to their completion. You might want to ask yourself what that looks like for you. For short term goals, that is not a problme. You are ready to roll your sleeves up right now. But in the long term, you might want to think in terms of what you are, or are not, willing to take on.
Sagittarius
It is so easy to get over-extended in this weather, or distracted by inconsequential things that just keep getting in the way. This can get you off course, or worrying about things that are not really that important at the expense of those things that are. This makes it difficult to focus and keep on track. Some of that is due to the Mercury retrograde phase, but some of it also has to do with unrealistic expectations. Or just trying to do too much in a limited amount of time. You have big dreams and big goals and big plans. And it may not be quite the right time to implement these yet. However, your dreams can be given greater validity if you stop and consider what resources you actually do have at your disposal. Out of all of this distraction there may be some good news brewing over the week. Perhaps a bit of celebration is being called for?
Capricorn
This is not a week to just hide in a corner or take a back seat. You will want to let the world know you are there, and show what you are capable of doing. Whether that means running a race; powering down on a project that you’ve been wanting to get off the ground; or seeing a goal through to its completion. You are disciplined, strong and determined. See if you can channel some of that energy in a productive way. Set goals for yourself. Short term and long term. The long term ones may change over time, but it doesn’t matter. You can really make a lot of ground here, especially in areas of self-self-improvement and self-determination. Think in terms of rebirthing, renewing, rebuilding and rehabilitation. You’ve got the incentive; and now the energy and motivation is there as well.
Aquarius
The fixed square between Venus and Mars this week could be a little distracting. On the one hand this is an extremely passionate combination. Not only for love and all that, but for anything that you may be drawn to at this time. What could be frustrating, is wanting to have something so much, and not being able to get it. That could cause problems and distractions. The key here is to channel that passion into everything you do, and everything you have. Rather than focusing on what you don’t have right now, focus on those things that you do. If you’ve been trying to work on rebuilding something, or rehabilitating or renovating something; you could find that you can make a lot of strides this week. Focus on what is right in front of you. There are things needing to be finished and completed, and the more you focus on that, the easier things will be in the long run.
Pisces
We are still free floating through the retrograde phase of Mercury in your sign. You are no stranger to this watery element, but even you may find it ambiguous and confusing. This is especially so coming off of the 1st quarter Moon that just passed. How many mixed messages can there possibly be? And how many diverging opinions? We should all be the better able to pull things together after the weekend, but even then we are gearing up for a Full Moon. Nonetheless there is a brief window of clarity here that could be helpful for creating some sort of plan going forward. One thing we should not lose sight of with the current transits: and that is how valuable the present moment is. We often lose sight of that, thinking that the present is just a demarcation between the past and what we are anticipating. In reality there is only this present moment. Use it well.
