For the week of December 16th thru the 23rd, and where Jupiter falls for your sign:
Aries
It is not in your nature to just let things take their course. So having Jupiter enter your sign this week could give you just the sort of inspiration you’ve been needing. Mars is still retrograde until January 12th, and there is no getting totally around that jet lagged feeling for now. But the much needed surge of hope and enthusiasm that Jupiter in Aries can bring, can be something of a jump start. Jupiter was in your sign earlier this year. So this is the encore. And for this round, Jupiter will be moving through your sign at top speed for the next 5 months. And once Mars stations direct again in January, it could be all you can do to direct and channel the emerging energy and motivation. For these next 5 months, Aries will be tasked with growing and/or expanding their vision for the future in some sort of meaningful and wonderful way. Perhaps in ways that are even beyond your own expectations. Once we enter the New Year, your life is likely to be a whole lot busier. Use the dark and sacred time of the Solstice, to connect with yourself. But then with the New Moon in Capricorn on the 23rd, you will want to create a road map to serve as your lodestar moving forward.
Taurus
Just one day before the Capricorn Solstice, Jupiter re-enters the sign of Aries. Because it was here earlier in the year, this time around it will speed quickly through Aries for the next 5 months, before it then enters your sign (lucky Taurus!). Jupiter in Aries can be a uniquely inspiring period for Taurus. The wisdom that Jupiter imparts while it is in Aries can be extremely important for your self-esteem and well-being, preparing you for the Jupiter in Taurus period of expansion and growth that will follow. While in Aries it can bring things to the surface that had been long forgotten, or tucked away in a corner somewhere. As they come to light they can then have the capacity to connect you to your own inner potential, all the while releasing any negative or self-limiting beliefs that were holding you back from fulfilling that potential. By doing this inner work, in some remarkable way, you will find healing and the freedom to reclaim your true self once more.
Gemini
Jupiter is expansive, lucky and also benevolent. And while in Aries for the next 5 months, you might even get to see a cherished hope or wish become a closer and more achievable reality. Now that Gemini has achieved certain tasks, goals and achievements, Jupiter entering Aries this week, is asking you to consider what some of your next steps might be. Usually at this point, Gemini seeing that they have been on some sort of upward trend, might be considering further cultivating what you had already begun. Whether that means further expanding your influence into the outer world, networking, or reaching a larger audience with what you do and what you have to offer. Jupiter is daring you to have the confidence to grow and expand your footprint. Aries is also a very social sign for Gemini, who has been thinking a lot about redefining their image lately. And Jupiter can help a lot in this department, especially after Mars stations direct again on January 12th. Look for advantages or opportunities through friends, or a group with which you are associated.
Cancer
Jupiter re-enters Aries just one day before the Capricorn Solstice. Like a door opening out on to the world, Cancer is being asked to look at their lives in a more expansive way. It can feel, with Jupiter back in Aries once again, like your world is about to get that much larger. For Cancer, Jupiter in Aries can bring opportunities for growth and advancement, and maybe even a little recognition. Jupiter looms large bringing you the courage and optimism to take chances, pursue goals, and possibly even go in a new direction. If Jupiter would want anything for Cancer in the early months of 2023, it would be to place yourself in a position in which you will have a greater chance to grow and expand your presence into the community. The community is ready to welcome you. Knowing that you have Jupiter in your corner for the next 5 months, be willing to look at and consider new opportunities that offer growth or improvement.
With Jupiter on your side, this can be a time in which your fortune could well nigh be due.
Leo
It seems that many a Leo has been burdened with a deluge of obstacles lately, what with Saturn sternly opposing them from Aquarius, and the eclipses seemingly working at cross purposes. So it can feel a bit like a reprieve to have Jupiter shining its light upon them once again from their fellow fire sign Aries. All Leos will be inspired at some point over the next 5 months that lucky and benevolent Jupiter is racing through the sign of new beginnings. While Jupiter is in Aries it can open doors, and expand your horizons, making you aware once again that there is a whole world of possibility out there just waiting to be discovered. And as a result of what you learn over the next 5 months, you could find yourself looking at things in a different light. Jupiter is trying to rekindle the flickering flames in your heart. And once that fire is kindled you will begin to see things that you had not seen or realized before. Jupiter is trying to free you up from previous ideas that may have been limiting you, and open you up to newer and better possibilities ahead.
Virgo
Now that Jupiter is entering Aries this week, and for the second time this year, it is positioning Virgo to benefit from Jupiter’s benevolent generosity and largesse. You never know what could fall in your lap for the next 5 months that Jupiter will be in this sign. Your credit could increase, you get to pay down your debt, your partner gets a raise and feels especially generous. You get showered with gifts. Often Jupiter can and will bring financial benefits, but also know that any big changes that occur when Jupiter is in Aries could ultimately be for the best, even if they don’t appear to be so at first. Another benefit that Jupiter in Aries can bestow on Virgo during this brief window of opportunity, can be down right illuminating. Jupiter opens doors, and drops hints with little tidbits of information in our laps when it travels here. What is being revealed as a result can have all sorts of ramifications, shedding light on situations that you were previously unaware of. Therefore, be prepared to be amazed and illuminated over the next 5 months.
Libra
The Solstice combined with the Jupiter ingress into Aries this week could feel a bit like a turning point in your life. On its own, the Solstice is a time to connect with our own potential, bathed and further cultivated within the returning light of the New Year to come. Traditionally Aries is a ‘relationship’ sign for Libra. And so with Jupiter re-entering Aries this week, it does have the potential to generally improve relationships across the board: with your spouse, your counselor, your closest friends and allies, even your customers and fans. What it can also do is change your relationship to others. You could find yourself seeking wise counsel, while also serving in that role to others. This would be especially so with Chiron also in the sign of Aries this year. Jupiter can help you to fulfill a vision for the future, much in the way it will for the Aries people. But for you, the promise of that fulfillment seems to come through others, or from some outside source that could almost feel serendipitous. And as a result of these serendipitous events your life could get that much larger.
Scorpio
Now that Jupiter will be re-entering Aries just one day before the Solstice, you can see some improvements in your daily life and activities over the next 5 months. For those who are looking for new employment, Jupiter can help to make that happen. Jupiter aims to improve the work space as well as your schedule. Sometimes this is as simple as freeing you up to have more time to do the things that you would much rather be doing. For others, that can mean being busier than ever. The aim for Jupiter is to improve your daily life to such a degree that whatever you do feels that much more fulfilling and rewarding. Jupiter is also our benevolent healer, consultant and guide. And while in Aries he aims to help you find the healers, healing methods, diets and/or routines that will best support your health and over all well-being. And this will be all the more so once your ruling planet, Mars, stations direct in January. Get ready to be both motivated and energized as we move into the New Year.
Sagittarius
This week, just one day before the Solstice, your ruling planet, Jupiter, enters Aries for the 2nd time this year. You are bound to feel yourself inspired and energized with Jupiter re-invigorating you with this extra dose of fire over the next 5 months. This is the sort of energy that Sagittarius thrives on. Whether that means taking on a new project, pushing yourself to achieve a personal best, or finding yourself dancing on tables just for the hell of it, Jupiter in Aries will not only increase your enthusiasm, and your joie de vivre, but your over all vitality. All the more so when Mars stations direct in January. Take advantage of this 5 month period to show off a little, and have some fun. You may even find yourself shining in the glory of your own little spotlight, if you so dare. Jupiter in Aries is your opportunity to let your hair down, take a few chances, and indulge some gloriously spontaneous whim.
Capricorn
As we ring in the merriment of the season with the Solstice this week, we do so with a bit of fanfare and maybe even a bit of glee. Even the most conservative of Capricorns are going to be filled with the spirit and generosity of the season. Throwing caution to the wind, you might even find yourself volunteering to host the holiday or New Year’s celebrations at your place. Jupiter in Aries is inviting the throngs into your home. And why wouldn’t you agree after all the changes and improvements you’ve been making around the house? Jupiter is here to help you show them off. Jupiter in Aries had been, and now still is aiming to improve the most fundamental and personal areas of your life: your home, your family relations, and your personal community. This is when and where we shore up the foundations of our lives, and nurture our roots. Know that doing so will help to support your emotional well-being, and bring a sense of stability and belonging for years to come.
Aquarius
As Jupiter moves into Aries this week, it is also daring to make your world just a little bit larger, and perhaps a whole lot busier. When jovial Jupiter enters Aries Aquarius is more inclined to want to try everything out, to be everywhere, and say yes to just about anything. How could you not with your lord Jupiter as your benevolent sidekick and guide? We’re all feeling that much more optimistic. And perhaps seeing things in a new light. For the next 5 months, also be prepared to have your mind expanded in some meaningful and inspiring way. This can come through something you learn, whether in a class, or randomly through something you hear, read or see. Or there can be that moment when you find yourself looking at something from another perspective. And whether that be through a class you take, a book you read, or a simple conversation you have with a neighbor, your perspective and your understanding is daring to get that much broader.
Pisces
Your ruling planet is packing its things and leaving home this week, but not without leaving behind a few gifts on his way out. We have completed a whole 12 year cycle with Jupiter, and in the spirit of the Solstice season, we can reflect on all that we have accomplished not only over the past year, but the past 12 years. While in Pisces, Jupiter has been bringing you rewards, while investing what you do with ever deeper meaning. Many of you have been growing in significant ways over the past year, and some of you may have even made a brand new start. Now you will be looking for ways to make any new initiatives more sustainable and practical. And so Pisces asks at this sacred time of the year: How can I make my Vision for the Future, a closer and more sustainable reality? In what ways can I further open myself up to receiving the abundance that the Universe now has to offer? And in what ways can I further invest in myself and the things that matter to me the most?
