On June 21st, just one day after the Solstice we have a Full Moon at 1º Capricorn 07’. Full Moons can often be revelatory. But the one thing that the Capricorn Moons afford us, is the opportunity to look at our lives from an objective point of view. 

With the turning of the Solar Year, we have 4 significant cardinal corners marking the advent of the seasons of the year. These quarters of the year have been celebrated down the ages, and marked as ancient harvest and earth festivals that bind us to one another as well as to the Earth, in a respectful and sacred dance. The Solstice on June 20th is one of these 4 magical corners of the year. 

One of the prevailing transits of the year is a semi-square between Saturn and Pluto. And through the impetus of the New Moon in Gemini that just passed, and the whole slew of inner planets: Mercury, Venus and Mars; in some way, some how, this is about to get personal. And maybe even a little intense. 

Jupiter trine Pluto is ambitious. But it is also just. And the trine implies that what might have seemed impossible before, can now be achieved when you are willing to reach beyond your previous expectations and believe in possibility. The New Moon in Gemini falls on June 6th, closely conjunct Venus it will mirror the Jupiter/Pluto trine since Gemini-ruler Mercury soon entering Gemini as well becomes part of the allegory.

On May 25th-26th, Jupiter enters the sign of Gemini, where it will remain until June 2025. For the year that Jupiter is in this sign, we may ask: Will this be a year of Sharing vast stores of Information, a year filled with Options, Diversions and perhaps a few Distractions? What new journeys are we going to pursue? And in what ways are we being called?

The Full Moon in Sagittarius is an expansive moon on its own, made all the more so by a magical Venus/Jupiter/Neptune sextile on the same day. On May 23rd, the Full Moon at 2º Sagittarius 55’ dares us to fulfill our potential. Magical and mystical, may we all celebrate the glorious Full Moon in Sagittarius this week. .

But boy do I truly love a Jupiter/Neptune connection when it is done well, for it opens up an awareness of the things that bring us ever deeper meaning in our lives, and even has the capacity to open up our hearts to the divine. And so we might all ask ourselves: What are the things that bring ever greater richness into your life and invests it with immeasurable meaning? 

The New Moon in Taurus is not only a super moon, meaning that it occurs when the Moon is close to the earth in its orbit. It is also only within a few degrees of the recent Jupiter/Uranus conjunction, re-energizing it and giving it form. This is a glorious new moon that is trying to free us up in order for better things to take root in the future. Also, not to be ignored is the 1st of 3 semi-squares between Saturn and Pluto.

Things always feel a little deep when Pluto stations. All the more so after newly entering the sign of Aquarius. For as Pluto stations for its retrograde phase, we are all going to be getting a bit of a glimpse of what this 20 year transit is going to be about if we play our cards right, but also what it could be if we don’t.

In the wake of two eclipses, and even while Mercury is still retrograde (until the 25th) and the Moon is growing to fullness on the 23rd, Jupiter and Uranus perfect their conjunction this weekend. Jupiter has the capacity to exaggerate and expand the qualities of whatever planet it touches, while Uranus wants us to be freed up in order to grow beyond our previous expectations. And as a result, in some wonderful way we are being freed up for ever better possibilities.
