The New Moon in Cancer 2024

On Friday, July 5th, we have a New Moon at 14º Cancer 23’. This is a deeply emotional Moon, in which it would not be unusual to find ourselves nostalgically longing for connection and belonging. To yearn for safety, community and familiarity. And so at this time of year we are inclined to circle the wagons, gather the tribe and seek out places of comfort.

The Retrograde Stations of Saturn and Neptune

This coming week we have the retrograde stations of both Saturn (June 29th) and Neptune (July 2nd), both in the sign of Pisces. In addition, and not to be ignored, is a semi-square between Jupiter and Chiron, and an approaching sextile between Jupiter and the North Node. The fates continue to spin their wheels.

Jupiter trine Pluto and the New Moon in Gemini

Jupiter trine Pluto is ambitious. But it is also just. And the trine implies that what might have seemed impossible before, can now be achieved when you are willing to reach beyond your previous expectations and believe in possibility. The New Moon in Gemini falls on June 6th, closely conjunct Venus it will mirror the Jupiter/Pluto trine since Gemini-ruler Mercury soon entering Gemini as well becomes part of the allegory.

The Super New Moon in Taurus 2024

The New Moon in Taurus is not only a super moon, meaning that it occurs when the Moon is close to the earth in its orbit. It is also only within a few degrees of the recent Jupiter/Uranus conjunction, re-energizing it and giving it form.
