Next week we have a New Moon in Scorpio. Just one day before, Uranus will return to Aries where it will take care of some additional shifts. And if you use the True Nodes, these will also shift on the same day to the Cancer/Capricorn axis, creating an exact square with Uranus. The day after the New Moon Jupiter enters its own sign of Sagittarius, and will make a trine to the North Node. We will address that more next week. But all this attention to the Nodes, and the planetary changes are certainly something to pay attention to.

First off: the inferior conjunction of Venus which occurs in the middle of the retrograde phase, marking the subtle New Moon phase of Venus. Then an exact trine between Jupiter and Chiron.

Full Moons can often be emotional, revealing and unpredictable. All the more so this one next week. Whatever changes have been brewing, are now coming to the forefront. As of now, we are all on Full Moon alert.

Venus retrograde in Scorpio meets Mercury next week…. We’ll all be talking about something next week… and it could get loud (Mars is square them both!)

Venus, the planet of the divine Feminine, will have appeared to station for its retrograde phase this Friday. She does so in the sign of Scorpio, even as we seem to be confronted with issues surrounding sexuality, women’s roles in society, and all the associated underlying wounds still embedded in the psyche of our society. Stay posted. Undaunted, the divine Feminine will rise again.

When planets station, they become stronger, and we begin to take notice of those things under the planet’s domain. This weekend Pluto stations direct, and we have already seen themes surrounding sexuality, shame, fear, obsession and power.

The Sun enters Libra this weekend, marking off the Autumnal (Spring in the Southern Hemisphere) Equinox. The first Full Moon of the season follows soon after. Referred to as the Harvest Moon, this helps to highlight the Solar Festival of Mabon, the celebration at this time of year in the North, of the final harvests before the Winter months.

Mars entered Aquarius last week and immediately applied to its square to Uranus once again, tightening its relationship to the South Node of the Moon. This is swift and sudden change that cannot be avoided. The 3rd and last square of the year, leaves the earth in a bit of turmoil.

One might not even know where to begin. The upcoming week is filled with so much Astrology. There is an interesting New Moon in Virgo on Sunday (to find out how interesting, read the essay); a sextile between Jupiter and Pluto; Mars goes back into Aquarius for a bit of excitement .We begin the week with an illuminating Grand Trine in the earth signs. Need we say more?

We are gradually emerging from the doldrums of retrograde mania. Mercury and Mars are now Direct. And these are to be followed by the Station of Saturn next week. Not only do we begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we may even see a plan unfolding before us.
